Ozzy8923 9
I still am surprised at the chart performance of Blow Me (One Last Kiss) because it is a LEAD single by a very established act and the song itself is very radio-friendly and the video was good, too. Her last lead single sold over 3 million copies in the US and reached #1 and the second single reached #2 and sold 2.5 million copies in the US and both songs topped the Pop Songs chart, so I expected Blow Me (One Last Kiss) to sell really well and reach #1, at least it will reach Platinum. Her album will most likely sell well, I expect 3-5 million copies WW, which is a very respectable amount seeing that most albums this year have either struggled to pass the 1 million mark or have yet to do so. Her Greatest Hits album sold 3 million copies WW and 1 million copies in the US (The same as Talk that Talk, and without a HUGE WW smash like We Found Love ). craig 680
I wonder if it had to do with it being at the tail end of her album era over there. Just makes me wonder how MTN would have done if it was released at the beginning of the BTW era. http://en.wikipedia....ing_discography Yes, it was Ellie's 6th UK single (and 2nd from re-release just like Wide Awake). The album had already almost sold as much as BTW. I still am surprised at the chart performance of Blow Me (One Last Kiss) because it is a LEAD single by a very established act and the song itself is very radio-friendly Have you counted how many times she sings "****" in it? And the public doesnt love it since it is out of US and even Australia top 10, and new songs with less airplay have outsold it. The clean version entered the iTunes top 100 last night, too.

Then attempts to censor sh*t ruin the flow of the song on radio, and I start hearing every word that sounds remotely like sit, hit, it, st... as ****. You think I'm just too serious, I think you're full of ..it (might as well say **** again) Edited August 10, 2012 by craig

Ozzy8923 9
Mylo is definitely not at 6 M The 5 M is more accurate I thought that too, but I wanted to have both numbers there just for reference purposes. :nick:
Arturo 40,746
You & I is #1 on Bulgarian iTunes as I type this. Most likely due to the fact that her tour's first stop is in Sofia, Bulgaria :)

Magoo 6
Whistle will keep gaining airplay though, so it could end up at #1. That's what should happen - however the latest airplay update shows: 1. KATY PERRY - Wide Awake: 164.200 (+ 0.989) 12. FLO RIDA - Whistle: 79.882 (+ 0.916) so Whistle's airplay is rising too slowly ... on the other hand 3. ELLIE GOULDING - Lights: 157.539 (+ 1.427) while 5. CARLY RAE JEPSEN - Call Me Maybe: 132.876 (- 2.621) is being actively killed With Whistle's sales stalling a bit I think BBHot100 #1 for next week is most likely to be between Lights and Wide Awake Edited August 10, 2012 by Magoo
