Galactic Mess 1,393
Acting like a slut with random models isn't paying homage to your home country. Actually it is, when it comes to carnival I would have released the singles as: 1. Born This Way 2. TEOG 3. You and I 4. Hair MTN, Scheisse, Heavy Metal Lover, etc are fan favorites and awesome dance tracks. They just aren't built for the radio. MTN is more mainstream than scheisse, and it didn't even make the top 20. The songs are awesome, but singles are released to sell. There are songs on the album that would have sold more than MTN or Scheisse. I would've released BTW, then Scheisse (I believe it would be a hit with a good radio edit), then TEOG, then Y&I, with a 3-4 months spacement between singles, and wrapped up the era. Galactic Mess 1,393
TBH I think it should've been BTW #1 (February) TEOG #2 ORIGINAL video (April) Hair (June) Scheisse (October) You And I (April during BTW Ball for Promo) I wouldn't have released hair, because it has the same theme as BTW... The GP could've thought like "oh, this preachy stuff again?" I think it could easily become a hit though... It's catchy =)
saltface 177
It would have been interesting to see how Hair would have done. It's not like she would have lost anything by releasing it as the 6th single. MTN already ended her Top 10 record so it wouldn't have done that much harm Yeah but I would rather not have Gaga's name publicly attached to a song as cheesy/messily produced as hair. The only candidates for singles after MTN were Scheisse or HML. Perhaps Americano. But theres no point rehaving this discussion lmao, there were no more singles and thats that. And omg I can't believe you don't like Boys Boys Boys :cryga:
Ozzy8923 9
Criminal though I don't really count that....only because you're delusional if you were actually expecting the MDNA era to smash. I'm sure Madonna and her team new she'd flop with that album. They just wanted the money from the tour Yeah I was rooting for Drop Dead (Beautiful), it's generic as hell but it would of smashed (or at least gotten into the top 10 or top 20). Up N' Down would of been an AMAZING choice as the last single and that one was a guaranteed top 10. Max Martin produced it.

Ozzy8923 9
Never heard it... I'll give it a listen :) It [up N' Down] is similar to 3 in structure and production but it's a classic Britney song.

Ozzy8923 9
I only stan for Trouble for me on that album, but it would have flopped Trouble for Me. :worship2: Yeah, it would not be the best choice for a single.

boysboysboys 278
Exactly. The only era that I think was handled well, besides the BTW era, was the Femme Fatale era (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Britney stan). Even though the album itself only sold half as much as Britney's previous release, Femme Fatale still managed 3 top 10 singles (HIAM #1, TTWE #3, IWG #7), 3 top 10's in Radio (HIAM & IWG #6, TTWE #4 w/ IWG being Britney's biggest radio hit EVER and her first crossing the 100 million mark in audience impressions), a well-performing tour (Britney's second best-selling tour, $67 million gross), 3 top 10's in Pop Radio (HIAM #3, TTWE #4, IWG #1), and all the songs had good music videos too and all 3 managed to go at least Platinum (HIAM 1.5 million, TTWE 2.6 million, IWG 1.6 million). Seems good to me. Plus FF was Britney's highest-reviewed album in 10 years (67 on Metacritic). It [up N' Down] is similar to 3 in structure and production but it's a classic Britney song. Stop pimping Britney, my dear. TBH I think it should've been BTW #1 (February) TEOG #2 ORIGINAL video (April) Hair (June) Scheisse (October) You And I (April during BTW Ball for Promo) ScheiBe should have been released immediately after BTW. It would've greatly influenced today's dance radio. However, I actually think it's a good decision to release Judas sometime afterwards. Then Hair, and one of the catchy ones like Bad Kids or Americano, and finally cap off the era with EOG. Lastly, MTN should not have been released. That was a bad decision from the label's part.
