Elton John compared them to Bad Romance and You and I, actually :lolly:

Well You and I is already country/ rock influenced and he said Bruce Springsteen Bad Romance which is a rock artist.

I'm really interested to hear how ''RedOne 2009 dance-pop hit'' sound would blended with these country/ rock influences. Those songs must have been bangers. :diane:

One of the songs which combine dance-pop with rock, right?  Because it wasn't produced by RedOne.

Wasn’t that just in reference to the album as a whole? I’m sure that was his way of subtly telling fans a country-ish album was coming. And well, he sort of had to compare it to Bad Romance, because what else is he going to say? :excuseu:He’s her friend, obviously he’ll want to hype the album by comparing it to her most acclaimed song.

I remember when he said that I thought it was odd that he chose You and I as a hit the album was similar too... If it were full of TFM-era dark pop tracks like we thought, he’d have said Alejandro or something. Looking back, he must’ve known the album would be a bit more Americana than we were expecting, so said You and I to prepare us, and BR to avoid a fallout in anticipation.

wonder if she is currently working on music with him too.

The last weeks RedOne was in Portland and Los Angeles, knowing he is rarely in the US lately, who knows

I'm sure Gaga has other producers involved on LG6. She never work with only one guy.

I doubt Gaga made all Joanne tracks far after Elton talked about it. Angel Down is the only song she took from her past demos.
