Gaga has said it's about haters. That's what most of the verses talk about ("spit it in your face," "I can't wait to cast my spell," etc.). I think the sexual lyrics were added later on. She said earlier in the song, "Tonight I will return the fame and riches earned, with you I'll watch them all be burnt." All that's gonna die with her but she'll still rise up as a new person. When the media abandoned her after ARTPOP and she sold her lowest grossing tour to date, she rose up as Joanne. So yeah it's bravery. It's about inevitable destruction that you really won't be able to do much about. Just be prepared for it.
