Until Act II, I guess I'll stay a PD virgin :selena:

Idk what the point of waiting for it is. Listening to it won't hurt anything and a studio version probably doesn't even exist. And if by some miracle it does exist we probably still won't get it. And if it does exist and we do get it, it probably won't be under happy circumstances :selena:

Do you feel him sir?

You know how DWUW video isn't released? It's like that. I'll wait until I die of old age hahaga

Yeah but it's not like there's a full version of DWUW that can be watched. A full version of Princess Die can be watched/listened to, just not studio.

I just can't wrap my head around preferring to have potentially nothing than something :flop:

No, and judging by the lyrics you typed in, I'm not sure I would want to :laughga:

I mean remember the BR leaks before? If I listened to those before the official, I would have hated the official as much as the leak. I think I'll be the same with Princess Die. And I'm fine with waiting, so really, it isn't an issue :derpga:

"mirror on the ceiling" why? and "free as my hair" her hair wouldn't be free if her mom cut it at night?! "I was his feet with my hair if he needs"? I am confusion

Mirror on the ceiling refers to watching yourself have sex... on a mirror... on the ceiling...

the lyrics in ayo are so sexual I feel like people forget about it. “Get off on me” “mirror on the ceiling”

Ayo as a whole song seems so fun... But yeah you're right. It's sexual. I mean I've tried sex where mirrors are involved and A-yo was the last song that entered my head :laughga:

But why would she ask for help from the world? There's feeling helpless, and there's feeling helpless that you have to cry out for help. The latter implies that she wants out but something is subduing her. In her desperation, she asks help from anyone.

That's another lyric I find... Weird. How can a starry night come inside her? Is she talking about making love with an entity of darkness? (Remember MTN?) Omg in her death she will be reborn like a challenger in the sky. What is a CHALLENGER??

She's feeling helpless, yes. Because the media AND the world keep dragging her. She has feelings too. But they don't get it. And that's why she cries for help.

Well in that, I think, yes, it could be referring to making love. Because after all, she's marrying the night (and her albums are known to have cross references). In the other sense, it just means the night is filling her up (not sexually, just space wise--she's dying) and that makes sense with the next line, "Don't forget me when I come crying to Heaven's door."

She will fly LIKE a Challenger across the sky (not be "reborn like one"). I didn't know this either but Challenger was the name of an aircraft sent into space that crashed. So she'll fly like a Challenger. Which means she'll face death and disappointment at times. But she will rise up and be reborn (the whole Born This Way concept) just like a phoenix that rises from its ashes after burning (crashing like the Challenger).

I feel like the message of A-YO is a lot more complicated than that. Gaga has said it's about haters. That's what most of the verses talk about ("spit it in your face," "I can't wait to cast my spell," etc.). I think the sexual lyrics were added later on. I always thought the chorus was, "Get off of me," as in "go away" which made sense to me.

Damn I really love The Queen. But to face destruction even when you knew it would happen... Damn Gaga you either brave or stupid.

I love it too. I think destruction is a lot of metaphorical things in your life. And she saw it coming. She knew she wasn't always gonna be at that peak of fame. She said earlier in the song, "Tonight I will return the fame and riches earned, with you I'll watch them all be burnt." All that's gonna die with her but she'll still rise up as a new person. When the media abandoned her after ARTPOP and she sold her lowest grossing tour to date, she rose up as Joanne. :)

So yeah it's bravery. It's about inevitable destruction that you really won't be able to do much about. Just be prepared for it.

Do you think she conjured up the whole goddess persona during ARTPOP as a planned resurrection from the ashes? It just backfired because she was still burning and crashing during the start of ARTPOP?
