Unreleased 43
So I have been watching these videos lately (except the professional mess that is Do What U Want of course) and I noticed that there was a connotation to fame in every video from ARTPOP. The rise and the praise: Applause's meaning is about us, her fans but the connotation in the video is simple: Applause and rise. Applause artistically and metaphorically says that the applause is yours, don't ignore. It is just that the fame can make the applause better. Omnipresence of fame in life: Fame is like an atom, the positive and negative are always with each other. One of the negatives is the omnipresence of media attacks, they are everywhere. If we look back, media attacked her like a witch, they left her. The downfall: Now, the last video. G.U.Y. is not about fame but I simply adore the opening scene, the opening scene shows a fallen angel (Gaga) on land, betrayed by media. It was so subtle yet great how she put ARTPOP as the song during that scene, a song about music not the bling. Blue is turquiose.

Sailor 3,321
G.U.Y. is still so cringe-worthy, TBH. I mean, I love her for the amount of effort she put into it, but it just seems so chaotic and unplanned. She tried to mash together what made her previous videos so good, with the Telephone-esque murders and the Bad Romance-esque chorography scenes, and then also combine multiple songs. Applause is the only one I really love. Venus would've been 100% my favourite video if she had visuals similar to the single cover artworks for it. DWUW could've been great too if it didn't have the cringe opening sequence. The newspaper scenes were iconic. bannedT for life and it's SAD

The so-called Housewives faking it on the instruments and Andy Cohen's "god" or whatever. Just, why? They seemed unnecessary. Those elements made me cringe while everything else was fun and campy. Still a fan of the video!
