Justin Trudeau interrupts woman to tell her to use 'peoplekind' instead of 'mankind' because 'it's more inclusive'

The Canadian PM made the comment during a town hall at MacEwan University 

Aimee, with controversial religious group World Mission Society Church of God had posed a question about volunteering in Canada

'We came here today to ask you to also look into the policies that religious charitable organizations have in our legislation,' she told him

She added that she believed it was important because 'maternal love is the love that's going to change the future of mankind'

Trudeau interrupted to say 'peoplekind' is a more inclusive term than 'mankind'

Aimee insists she wasn't offended by the comments, telling DailyMail.com: 'It wasn't negative. 'Did it look like I was bothered by it?' 

His interjection was well-received by the audience, but sparked a wave of criticism on social media

It's sad that this is the only headline-worthy stuff we get from this man. Not much about what he's done so far. Just random stuff regarding his past life, how hot he is, what trivial 'woke' thing he's up to

Yeah... To interrupt over the word used is too trivial to be justified so that was rude

 

Trudeau has always tried way too hard to keep this image of the fair and progressive forward thinking man that is all about equality etc and on some things goes way too far

 

Even for many Government appointments he wanted equal number of men and women which is a bit questionable because

 

#1 far fewer women go into politics than men so hiring 50:50 ratio actually favours female applicants 

#2 genders shouldn't be a factor of ur truly equal. Hire whoever is most qualified withiut being biased and whatever number of men and women you end up with is what you end up with

 

He's doing a decent job as PM. Most of the tax reductions from the Conservative Government have been kept in place. Small tax hikes here and there and increased spending  resulting in higher deficits but still lower than most  Countries so his economic policies are decent  But he tries too hard for being perceived as forward thinking is actually getting obnoxious now tbh

 

He's also one hell of a SJW sometimes on trivial stuff

Well, i think most will agree the use of a more inclusive word is too trivial to justify interrupting someone especially if everyone could tell what she meant by the word
