Full Brazilian interview. Here she explains the meaning of the songs in the show. Listen to what she has to say about her show being too agressive and filled with guns.

http://fantastico.gl...OM MADONNA.html

Thank you very much! I was barely able to understand a word in the translated version that aired yesterday or the day before.

This is a great video that sheds some light on the content and message of the show. I am happy I got the first part right! :dies: It's rare she takes time to explain herself in interviews.

I still don't see how the Gaga comment was "b---hy," "shady" or inappropriate. She was kidding.

I loved what she said about the world and its intolerance.

Reposting what I said yesterday:

I'm just going to say that I don't think Madonna is a b---h.

I don't like seeing her reduced to such a vise when it is simply not true. I have always perceived her as a wise, aware and conscious human being that is concerned about the world, has a voice to be heard and contributes to compassion, humanity and togetherness.

I know there have been several situations in which it is easy to say she is being a major b---h, a stupid slut or simply an attention-seeking, middle-aged woman. But all of these alleged roles don't even scratch the surface of the person that is behind it.

Call me deluded or naive, but Madonna is a human being that I look up to. Not only has she inspired me, she has influenced me as a child by stimulating my creativity and widening my view to be a better person.

May they all call her what they want. Anytime I hear something negative about her, I always wonder exactly what this comment bases on. One puzzle part in shape of a sentence is seen as the whole puzzle. Because they want to. They don't even want her to not be a b---h. This means letting go an old notion that's easy to cling to. The thought of Madonna carrying more than just one facet to her personality is uncomfortable because this means giving up on stubbornness.

Just go watch recent interviews. This is where Madonna the wise, aware and conscious human being is. She has been promoting love, equality and togetherness at any of her shows.

Needed to say this.

Mister G

I feel like one of the only True Blue fans on here. It's one of my favorite albums as a whole along with Erotica and American Life.

True Blue is actually my favorite album of her's from the 80's. I'm right there with you.

This is hysterical. Madonna can't wear a lace bra on stage? You go, Madge. Piss them off even more. Madonna's not cool? What 53-year-old popstar performs to stadiums and still has people dissecting her, obssessing over her and what is expected of her as a 53-year-old mother. That's Madonna's point in Human Nature with the stripping, an F you to all the ageist remarks. And if someone doesn't get the Like A Virgin, one of Madonna's best performances in years, they just need to go see a Madonna tribute act instead and dance away to the Like A Virgin from 1985 where they're still stuck.

The MDNA era will go down in history as the time when Madonna defied ageism and paved the way for female artists and women aged 50+. It all will be rewarded as another major influence Madonna had on society in general. I can already see this. Think of Erotica and the Sex book and how the media bashed her back then. And now look at how it gets recieved today.

Exactly. Iconography is made in retrospective. In a way, it is sad that very often the actual significance of something occurs to people in the aftermath.

I'm Burning Up, Burning Up for your love :music:

I feel as though I'm the one who appreciates Madonna's first album the most on this forum

If I Know It didn't exist, that album would probably be in my top 3

I've been starting to really like that album. I'm starting to warm up to it more.

Really? I quite like I Know It. I don't think the lyrics are her best, but I think it's catchy. I quite like Think Of Me too.

Gurl you know it. Everyone here knows I stan for that song :toofunny:

I don't hate it, it just really drags the album down for me
