PI isn't THAT bad for a lead.

I'm rewatching Joanne era videos (to give ha extra streams :lolga:) and listening and watching PI is kinda great, very energetic vibe and still sounds good, even better now than the day it was released imo. What do you think? Is Perfect Illusion officially rehabilitated? :sis:

the video is underrated, those are facts but PI as a lead is down to taste i guess

personally, i think DH/A-YO/JW may have been the better choice

Personally if I was in charge, I would've went with DIC,JW,A-yo or even SP,GG. :sis: Just my 5 cents I forgot to mention.

Ayo or DH would have been perfect for lead.

Million Reasons should be the lead. It's like they didn't understand soon enough that Lady Gaga should have a ballad as a lead single, specially after two years where she tried so hard to showcase her vocalist abilities. And now they are trying to fix that up by making MR last more than a year.

Perfect Illusion is the most "commercial" song from the album though, so I understand why it was chosen.

The video is one of her best ever. Really.

The song could be a bit better. It gets tiring very easily. It's just ok. I'm still very bitter that her collab with Kevin Parker resulted in just this.

Perfect Illusion is great, but very misleading as a lead. I never would've thought we were getting Joanne.

I think it was the perfect song to kind of keep the mystery around the album's sound...

A-yo would more than insinuate that the album would have a country/rock vibe.

PI sounded very retro, rock, pop,... we still didn't know what the album would sound like.
