Your LG6 wishlist?

After the Grammys, I've formed a wishlist I wish would happen with LG6.

1. Instead of campaigning for a ballad, I hope she releases an uptempo track that is considered Grammyworthy (I'm sure RedOne has made some for her) and campaigns for it. Not because Shape of You is uptempo and it won, but because I felt slightly underwhelmed by her Grammy performance. I figured if she keeps on releasing ballads, there is little to no room for her to explore with creativity for her performances. Kendrick did a good job, Gaga did decently well, but her uptempo pop star persona has been missing for some time, I need her back. Let's be real, the performance we got wasn't on par with-

Also Joanne World Tour didn't just receive rave reviews from the ballads. It received so well because she brought back the pop star Lady Gaga that she was. She did a fantastic job but sadly there's no room for uptempo tracks for award shows because Million Reasons is the focus of her award campaigning.

2. Extensive promotion including radio deals and live performances, Perfect Illusion-level promotion is insufficient. We all know Perfect Illusion was paid dust, despite her extensive radio promotion. It wasn't performed live on TV at all.

3. At least three singles promoted properly

Finally, I'd like her to submit her material to the Grammys and let it fare on its own. I believe if done properly, she will be back to her prime (or at least close to it).

I've never spoken negatively of this era, in fact I adore it,  but it's time Gaga revitalise disco or dance pop and I believe she'll do a good job with it.

i will settle for the following:

1. at least 5 #1s

2. a collaboration with tony bennet on a song about drugs

3. 13 grammy nominations; 8 wins

4. 2m copies on first week

5. #1 album for 20 weeks straight* (at least)

*but 40 weeks gay

Gaga can do whatever she pleases, but imo

1. Gaga can release any kind of music and make it successful tbh. Clearly all her albums proves that.

2. The single choices and promotions are a MUST this time around. I’ve had enough with Gaga and/or Interscope fumbling on singles since ARTPOP.

3. Music videos for singles should be released no later than a week of the song release.

4. A strong/high fashion era like BTW.

5. An album with 2 good collabs and a performance.

At the end of the day, I want to see Gaga happy and also win in life and in her career. Also love to see another timeless bop or #1 record.

Ok, so I think she needs a good mixture of all the genres she's worked in, but needs to put emphasis on the uptempo electra pop she's famous for. Performance wise, I'd like at least two top 20 hits ( a hit being a song that spends multiple weeks favorably charting), at least 4 well promoted songs. I'd also like at least 3 songs to surpass 50 million audience on the radio. Visuals. We need Visuals. That slay. And give her relevancy streaming and media wise.

Spoiler

Spotify and radio payola appreciated too, we deserve it.

An uptempo track that is actually promoted. Tonight's Grammys (the entire show as a whole) showed me that I've heard enough ballads for a while :laughga: I'm not saying for her to get rid of ballads or anything (her ballads are a highlight and I like how she treated some of their performances in creative ways, like tonight's Joanne/Million Reasons medley) but I'm ready for something uptempo to take the spotlight for her musical career.

This :poot:

It's frustrating as hell for us to have gems like Million Reasons or Perfect Illusion under perform because they're not promoted properly or the single choice was changed. I wish they would've stuck with Venus and A-Yo as the second singles and chose Do What U Want and Million Reasons for the third singles and give them all properly planned out and well made videos released in a timely manner with performances whenever and wherever possible.

Other than that, I really don't care. I'm going to fall in love with whatever she puts out and the commercial performance won't affect how much I love it either...Gaga is really the only living commercial artist I stan hard for anyway, all the other artists I like are lucky if they sell a few thousand copies of an album :poot:

I would like more Joanne-esque/Dope-esque ballads though  her voice was made for theatrical ballads and jazz so I hope she plays to her strengths and gives us another album centered around those golden pipes of hers.

Tbh the Joanne/Million Reasons medley was too simple for me. It's good as a TV show performance but not award-showworthy.

I liked it a lot and thought the ending with the Angel wings was gorgeous, but it's like. Most of her performances for her own material in the last year were ballads, and then 70% of this years Grammys show were ballads or downtempo/midtempo tracks.

I want to see Gaga channel that passion into something a little more uptempo for a change is all.

I'd be happy for her releasing an album after 2020. It'd be nice for her to have a family and take a rest from music and maybe just release a couple singles or a small ep for lg6.
