For an album to only sell 30K to 40Km but have 180K to 200K in SPS, making it #1, is ridiculous

why?

because buying an album is much more of an active process

you're paying much more for an album than sitting there all day streaming an album. Some don't even have to pay to stream.

An artist who sells (say 100K) more shouldn't be losing to an artist who sells (say 30K) because of streams.

I just don’t get why people get upset about it 🤷🏻‍♂️ Like this album isn’t going to be remembered so just let it go.

you might not remember it cause you white but it will definitely be remembered within the black community and that's what matters because this album was made for black people. Culture 1 is highly regarded whether you like it or not

Oh ok :laughga:

Well I’ve seen zero hype and it won’t stay on the charts long - so that’s pretty much why I said that.

zero hype maybe among you and your group of friends. you sound like you don't know anything about hip hop tbh so i'll stop here :rip:

and btw Culture 1 was released last year and not only changed the landscape of hip hop, it is still on the charts

again, why not? the charts are for measuring what's popular, not what people paid more for. rules are rules whether we like them or not
