DMTT 160 Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I think I'm the only person that prefers Lungs over Ceremonials. you're SO not! a lot of people, actually, prefer lungs over ceremonials. though i can understand, because they're both SUCH high quality albums, i disagree. ceremonials is PERFECTION imo. the cohesiveness is incredible, and it's probably the most inspiring album i've ever heard. it sounds silly, but it IS like an exorcism. idk, it's perfection :P though, lungs is brilliant. it's just so all over the place almost, which isn't a bad thing, but she took the best of lungs and made a whole album out of it with ceremonials. though, the third album really can't/shouldn't sound anything like ceremonials. she can either expand upon the best of C like she did with L, or just go completely different. i'd love either: a) an acoustic album with lots of guitar (acoustic or electric), strings, piano, and percussion (sort of like her unreleased) or b) an experimental electronic album like remain nameless. DS is a great song, i really do like it. i wasn't a fan when Lungs was big. i liked GWOE, HIYA, and CL, but didn't love her. most of her stans loved her with Lungs. but i fell in love with Ceremonials (specifically WTWGM), which is when i started to stan, and then fell in love with Lungs afterward. so while most people love L over C, i'm the opposite. fell in love with C immediately, and it took me a while longer to love/appreciate Lungs. but now i know that both are such quality albums (a 79 and 75 on metacritic respectively, that's insane!) Can't wait for her third album, I hope it still follows the previous albums and that she doesn't start making Sweet Nothing-singles only cause they go nr 1. I really wouldnt mind a couple songs like Remain Nameless on the next album. And I love Over the Love, I am slayed And my favorite Flo+TM song is I am Not Calling You A liar/Ghosts/ Don't Tell Me What You've Done.
