It almost sounds like there is a constant sound. Like theres not a lot of alternating sounds typical with songs, its just like a lot of long continuous sounds. If anything I think the album version got a little more edm-esque-basic in the chorus than the itunes festival version unfortunately but i wouldnt call it muddy.
