Producer Mark Ronson was recently sued for (allegedly) ripping off Roger and Zapp‘s 1980 classic ‘More Bounce to the Ounce.’ Now, another party has come to the legal roast, claiming the same…about a different song. Details after the jump… According to TMZ, female rap group named The Sequence are the latest accusers. The trio claim their 1979 hit ‘Funk You Up’ (which became the third rap song ever to reach Billboard’s Top 50) was borrowed unlawfully. But I feel like all those elements like the guitar in the background, the beat, or the lyrics are pretty generic in funky music. If you search long enough you'll probably find 10 other songs than match this type.
