Taylor and Ariana for sure. I’d say Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello have potential as well.

Ya'll saying Dua Lipa when she barely has 1 album and is still relatively unknown outside of the UK  There are a lot of girls on the peripheries of being "pop girls" publicly, but she doesnt have nearly enough exposure. People at this stage fade out all of the time, so time will tell. Meanwhile, Camila, while known already, doesnt even have an allbum out  So give that time too. I imagine if she's successful with her debut and can pull out a few more singles from it, she might stick around. (Meanwhile, RIP 5H  )

I'll say Ariana, Selena, and Meghan. They truly blossomed in the public's eye around 2013-2015, but seem to have staying power and I expect will remain around as popular in the coming yearsMeghan's 3rd era will determine it probably)

Oh, Demi, though like Ari + Selena, she "debuted" a bit earlier, but has imo still yet to truly peak, she can still churn out hits and people know her as a judge too.

Gomez and Lovato have had a successful last couple of years and are becoming established as pop forces. Sorry not sorry was huge this year and the features she has done have been successful

Well, idk so much about this but I don't think they are "local". I'm from Spain and Dua Lipa with New Rules and Camila with Havana and Never Be The Same are always playing on the radio. Both have so much impact here, that's why I said that.

It makes me laugh when people say Dua Lipa is a LEGEND. I got told that by a user today...

Shes good - but that doesn’t matter. Everyone thought Tove Lo and Carly would be icons yet no one buys their albums anymore (even though I think they both have solid releases).
