Art is open to individual interpretation, and just because some people disagree with your opinion doesn't automatically mean you're wrong. I mean, think about it; this is a Gaga site, and I'm sure she'd be all for her fans to be discussing pop music meaningfully, creatively and sharing their own opinion (barring that people keep it civil when some inevitably disagree; there's no reason for anyone to be rude just because their subjective interpretation is different from your own). I personally use words like "hot," "handsome," and maybe "cute" at a push. But "gorgeous" is a very feminine word to my mind and I think some men would perhaps find the word a bit emasculating. So...maybe it was in reference to a girl? That's the only bit that you might have a point. And if Taylor is hiding something, well, maybe she didn't want to alienate her conservative country fanbase all these years and risk losing support? She's seen how plenty of LGBT artists are frozen out of the big leagues as well. It's no wonder so many of them do stay closeted as long as possible, particularly if they're young with a big, young, impressionable fanbase endorsed by parents. It would certainly explain why Taylor's relationships never last long and why rumours have always been so strong that the guy breaks up with her because she won't put out. It would make perfect sense if it was because it was all a cover and she's trying to convince herself that she's straight. But this is all pure speculation. Gorgeous is a feminine song (Ive only listened to the album once all the way through) but it also seems to be the most feminine song on the cd. Mmmm Good on her, she can do what she wants to do. Perhaps its like George Michael that said he'd done songs for his fans or years hinting at it for his fans to pick up. He just couldn't come out. He was gay though not Bi which I shouldn't guestimate that she is. Its her life, it would be great for her to say it but the press officers are apparently quite strict. Its redic really. Same as footballers, rugby players, boyband members ect all come out when they retire or band breaks up. Look at Ronaldo You know that's a closet waiting to burst open. Yes, it's the most feminine song on the album, one of the most feminine she's ever done. I know that if I were her boyfriend, I would not be flattered that this was a song she'd dedicated to me, it sounds too girlie. You make a good point bringing up George, he had to just put in subtle hints for years, which is so sad. It would be very realistic for Taylor to be bi, that would make more sense. In a way, that's more of a struggle because they can't dedicate themselves one way or the other and at least if they were gay, they'd be strictly on one side. If you're bi, there's the temptation to keep your straight side on show to make your life easy but still indulge your other side on the down low. It all came out after Whitney Houston died that it was all but confirmed that she was bi and did have a romantic relationship with her female friend, Robyn Crawford, but could never come out or be with her because her family didn't accept her. Bobby Brown even said that if her parents had accepted her, Whitney might still be alive today. Robyn is now openly lesbian and married, so it would make sense. I never thought about Ronaldo before. He's got children by different women, though. I know the recent twins were by surrogate, apparently, so that is a bit strange. On that note, there were also really weird rumours for years that Michael Jackson didn't actually have sex to produce his children, that he...did his thing into a test tube and Debbie basically artificially inseminated herself because he couldn't stand to be intimate with her to make children. But then, he was strange in lots of ways, so maybe it was nothing to do with sexuality but another issue? Whatever the truth, it really makes you feel for the no doubt numerous closeted cases out there. I'm honestly shocked no one from 1D has come out yet. It's apparently an open secret that Harry's bi, though. Maybe Simon Cowell thought making a boyband out of boys who wanted to be solo singers was a better bet when it came to the likelihood of having gay members as opposed to endorsing a boyband who decided to be together organically? I'm bi-curious myself but have decided to not tell any of my family about it for fear that they'll be a bit weird about it and look at me differently. There's no point, anyway, if I don't intend on ever properly dating a woman, so why do I need to? If my feelings ever develop to the point where I could see myself being with a woman just as much as a man, then I'll have no choice but to come out, but as long as that day never comes, I just say I'm completely straight to keep things simple.
