Not to rude or anything. But Justin Bieber totally ruins the song, not to mention the overall quality of music has gotten worse.

All those reggeaton Songs Sound the same.I don't get whats so special about despacito. 3 years ago I moved to Spain for a Year and they were literally playing the same 5 Songs Over and over. And you Could basically sing each song over the other. Thats how similar they were. Now when it comes to despacito, again you can literally sing 5 other Songs Over this One.

Umm what makes them reggaeton is the beat, which is always the same, dont be ignorant:saladga:

What enables you to sing One song over another song is the chord progression, which doesnt have to be similar. Yet those musicians don't seem to be Creative enough to come up with something original

Whatever, i did meant the chord progression, and yes it has to be similar, it's literally what makes reggaeton easy to listen to

I couldn't get away from Despacito in the summer :air: I turn on the car radio, it's playing. I walk into the mall, it's playing. I get back into the car, it's playing. I stop by at McDonald's, it's playing. I go to the park for a walk and someone's blasting it on their phone. I get back home and someone's playing it in their backyard.

Fortunately I was able to almost completely bypass Despashito . I heard it once or twice, I remember the chorus, but other than that I was able to avoid this piece of garbage completely :lana:. I listened to "The Cure", aka "I'll slay you with my bop", instead :whitney:

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Despacito all the way through but I think we need to look at it through another perspective. In a country ruled by a racist xenophobic dickhead, a Latin song was #1. And it’s not like songs that go #1 are usually high quality music, right?

I never heard Despacito in full and I don't plan to. Through out all the Despacito era I was able to avoid it, only heard the song once or twice and before it would go on any longer I would blast on The Cure to fix my ears

To be honest if Shakira sang Despacito y'all wouldnt be roasting it...a lot of Latin songs sound have always kind of sounded like that, its light and dancy and fun.  its not a musical masterpiece but its definitely a catchy song which is obviously why it did so well. Justin Bieber is another story but... I mean he just made the song more popular, its still the same song tho
