Economy 52,844
https://www.courier-journal.com/story/life/wellness/aging/2015/02/19/alzheimers-rise/23675209/ Living Longer but unhealthier lives. That is the reality of the Western World in the 21st century Peoples poor diets and lack of exersize trigger health problems such as Diabetes, heart desiese, high blood pressure, cancer etc at an earlier age than people would develop these illnesses 100 years ago However medications control and manage symptoms, so although we are unhealthy, desiese symptoms are prevented from getting bad enough to kill you early. For instance that blood thiner or blood pressure pill may prevent stave off that stroke or heart attack you otherwise may have had at 65 but instead you live past 80 with chronic health problems Some researchers think the strain in our bodies from poor lifestyle habbits is affecting the brain as well to trigger desieses like alzheimers. The fact that modern medicine keeps us alive despite us being unhealthier allows us to deteriorate more while living, and that includes mentally

PunkTheFunk 125,703
I'd rather die at 70 while I still have somewhat good health than live to 100 and be confined to a bed

But i hope eternal youth formula would be found by that time I read about this in an article and I think it might be the one i posted actually Living to 100 has more to do with genetics than anything else. Living to 85 for example appears to be important to live at least somewhat healthy while extra-ordinairy unusually long lives appear to have genetics as a bigger component. Its also much harder for males to reach 100! Anyway it seems like life-expectancy has gone up due to pre-mature death prevention. In that past many didint live to 80 because some health complication took your life pre-maturely Modern medicine can delay heart-attacks or strokes as a result of heart desiese or high blood pressure. Surgeries can bypass certain issues and anti-biotics can stop most infections now But 100 years ago people who lived to their 80s and 90s existed too! They just had to be lucky not to get health problems they couldnt deal with back then which caused premature death But in 2017 now, a great many people already die of old age instead of pre-mature deaths which means, curing illnesses and better medicine can only raise life expectancy by so much more. Medications dont stop aging and most peoples genetics dont allow them to live to 100!!! To have the average person live to 100 not only would it require healthier life-styles to increase life expectancy a few more years but also we actually need to find a way to slow aging itself. Until we slow aging the average person will never live to

Protein and other nutrients can be very lacking in many fruits and vegetables so its important to know what nutrients u have to be extra careful to get from other sources such as legumes, nuts and eatable fungi To go vegan without proper planning no doubt does more harm to ones body than good as ull lack much important nutrition
