Yeah, Monster has the strange lyrics/sounds that wouldn't really work with radio I feel. And I don't think a song where a good part of the verses is "I touch myself" would have taken off too well

Dance In The Dark, Monster and Speechless had the potential but I'm glad they didn't push another single. She needed a break from the media to get ready for Born This Way. If they kept going with The Fame Monster I'm pretty sure BTW would've been delayed until the end of 2011 and it was already hard for me to wait 6 months for it after it's announcement.

Sorry y'all but Gaga could have recorded a fart and released it as a single in 2010 and it would have smashed. 

You could be right, it didn't do that well in France and Australia but maybe with a video and official promo it could have done well. In my eyes it always sounded like it fit so well into a body of work and it was amazing as a tour opener but I just never imagined it as a stand alone single and I just can't imagine that one song being performed at award shows and things (even though the brit awards was great)

It's one thing to not prefer the song but to say that anything on TFM during 2010 would have flopped is a stretch.
