It's reasons like these as to why a lot of award shows nowadays, including the Grammys, don't hold as much weight as they used to. It should be as simple as a giant panel of judges sitting down and voting based on the quality of the music, not anything else.

Agree. I am sure Kesha will get a standing ovation and have all the news articles about her.

I love Kesha tho, so I won't complain, but it is what it is.

I think Gaga's performance will be drowned out tbh, especially if it is just her sitting next to Mark singing Joanne.

I mean, that's sorta the reality of it. Unless she decides to do some big medley of the more up tempo songs, I don't see how her performance isn't going to just be brushed over by everyone else's. I like the song 'Joanne', but I don't quite see how it's some standing ovation, tears streaming down your face OMG performance. The album, IMO, doesn't have a ton of stellar high octane songs that she would perform at the Grammys.

Would I be down for Dancing In Circles? Sure! Or even Angel Down. I don't see it happening.

The performer list seems kinda lackluster for the Grammys. Glad Gaga and Rihanna are there, but yeah. Hopefully that doesn't hurt ratings.
