No excuse, but old men turn into perverts when they start losing their minds...Ā :saladga:

Wouldn't be surprised if he did it when he was younger too. My expectations towards men with power have become depressingly low.

He also didn’t apologize for grabbing her ass twice, but only about ā€œthe jokeā€. šŸ™„

Being goosed by a 90+ year old man in a wheel chair is not the same thing a showing up to Harvey Weinstein's apartment and having him answer the door in a half open bath rove with nothing underneath, when you are supposed to be discussing why you should be cast as the lead actress in his new movie.

Yes it is.Ā

I've been goosed by women at work. It doesn't mean anything. There is noĀ danger or worry behind it. It would be pretty ridiculous for me to write a #metoo comment. Did I feel uncomfortable? Yes. Did I ever feel I was going to lose my job or that it would lead to anything else. No.

I am not saying thatĀ what H.W. Bush (the irorny of him having the same initials as Harvey isn't lost on me btw.) did wasn't wrong. He definitely should apologize and she has every right to feel uncomfortable.Ā But to say it's the same thing as a womanĀ that feels a real threat or is powerless because of fear of losing her job is not right.Ā
