Supersonic 49,376
It's Lorde, and it's not even close
Lextyr97 19,979
I only know Royals and Lorde is the better songwriter
Meredith Grey 3,157
They’re both AMAZING lyricists but have completely different styles of writing so it’s weird to compare them. Lorde has this very beautiful, poetic way of talking about things but Taylor can write songs that are extremely relatable especially when she talks about her relationships. Jenina 15,083
Oh sis is that even a question one just rhymed "face" with "face" in a song cool
dopega 3,733
Lorde obviously. This is like comparing Lady Gaga and The Chainsmokers
sipthistea 21,099
I think Taylor is a better lyricist (With the exception of her last 3 songs), as she always goes deep and sings about love in metaphors. Lorde is always trying to make an impression, but her lyrics are not that deep.
Swine 504
You gotta be kidding its Lorde, theres no comparison. Taylor writes and sounds like a 14 year old.

JGD 12,023
I love both as lyricists, but I’m going with Lorde because Melodrama is a masterpiece.

REALITY 76,755
Definitely Lorde. Taylor can make a catchy song, but Lorde can have some profound lyrics. 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰
rumours 45,521
This is a no-brainer. Lorde is miles better than Taylor Swift. 2 minutes ago, Swine said: You gotta be kidding its Lorde, theres no comparison. Taylor writes and sounds like a 14 year old.
