Cardi B now has the most weeks at #1 by a solo female rapper

She passes Lauryn Hill who's "Doo Wop (That Thing) "reigned at #1 for two weeks in 1998. 

Billboard says:

With three weeks at No. 1, "Bodak," released on The KSR Group/Atlantic Records, is now the longest-leading Hot 100 No. 1 for a female rapper without any other billed artists. It passes the only other such leader, Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)," which ruled for two weeks beginning with its Nov. 14, 1998, debut at No. 1.

I'm happy that female rappers are getting a chance to shine but  Cardi beats Lauryn? Bodak Yellow is just a generic rap song similar to most things on. She might have a different personality, but the song itself is generic and annoying. Not sure how Lauryn only had 2 weeks  Miseducation was one of the most iconic albums of the 90s.

Miseducation is iconic, but what's the big deal about Cardi? Just be happy for her success, man. She's an afrolatina woman making it big. That's hard and it's freaking exciting. Don't be petty.
