Nervous for first 'A Star Is Born' trailer

People really have high expectations, even non-fans. I also read comments online (from non-fans) that A Star Is Born even could become potential Oscar-material. So, since this is Gaga's first serious acting job (not counting AHS... I'm sorry, but that's another game), I'm really nervous to see how this all will turn out eventually.

I really hope the trailer will impress people. May is a kind of 'interesting' month to release a movie, because A Star Is Born will released in the same month as some really big blockbuster movies. And although that's a total different genre, Warner Bros. doesn't do that if they don't trust the production. September is by far a much saver month to release a movie.

So, to become a hit, they need to promote this trailer so well and that's a really difficult task. I mean, trailers can make or break a movie nowadays. But I'm pretty sure that Coopers and Gaga's creativity and talent will shine through this whole movie.

Can't wait to see it. And since I'm a "semi-professional" reviewer, I can't wait to judge it too.

Let it come. People will have opinions either way. For me, her acting debut as main role are too good for me to ruin by listening what others thinks rather than celebrating it.

I expect something to be released in the December. The holidays are a great opportunity to promote A Star Is Born and her album Joanne at the same time.

I think we just have to trust Gaga's talent, and trust Warner Brothers. They know what they're doing, and the move will have been well thought out.

Agree, but I wish more people will recognize her talent. This movie could help her with that.

I like her acting in both AHS Hotel and Roanoke. I expect a lot of improvement anyway. Maybe if the acting is not that good, the music can "save" her

I don't like seeing her as a actress, but I'm very hyped. Not for myself, but for her. I still get very excited when Gaga gets critical acclaim and I'm hoping this movie will be a great opportunity for a global comeback. Even if I'm not a fan, I hope she proves me wrong.

Not worried, but she has some big stilettos to fill. Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand. Fittingly both are huge gay icons, so Gaga was practically typecast!
