If you think she doesn't need Brazil you're very wrong. It's actually her biggest fanbase. No, she's not in control of which countries she's touring in but if she WANTS to go somewhere I'm sure she will be able to.

I hope Gaga recovers and feels better. My heart is aching for her because I know that she did not want anything like this to happen. I just hope the word "soon" doesn't have the new meaning she gave to it, which is "never".

This is a constrictive discussion. The OP never blamed Gaga or said anything to that effect. 

OP was just explaining the severity of the situation for Brazilian fans, if I was in that position, living in Brazil, I'd be devastated too and also worried about the prospect of Gaga never being able to return to perform there.

Of course I'd also be sympathetic to Gaga's condition and glad she's taking care of her health and not putting herself through unnecessary pain.

The only thing we can hope now is that Gaga gets better and that her pain will go away and that her tweeted promise to return to Brazil soon will come true.

We all love Gaga and no one is saying she has to do anything special to make up for it because really it's not her fault but I genuinely believe she'd like to reach out to the fans in Brazil and maybe hold a concert there if possible, even if it's small, and give out tickets for a low or cheap price. Maybe have the proceeds go to Brazilian charities or even Fibromyalgia research.

Idk just a thought! Probably more likely if the concert would be part of a tour or maybe she could come back and headline Rock in Rio next year?

She's a stronger touring force now than ever, so just because she didn't sell out a few years back doesn't mean she won't in the future.

Brazilian people should understand some points:

1) In 2012, On Born This Way Ball Tour Brazil - They put her in big stadiums  just because that's the only place we have to big shows. At that time we didn't have places for 20k or 30k people. Simple. Also because she was sharing the same structure of the madonna's stage, who performed 2 weeks after Gaga.
So the media was crashing her and telling she was fail cause she didn't sell 50k in São Paulo, but she sold more than 35k easy. If you look now on Joanne's world tour, mostly all the places are for less than 20k. Even in the Born This Way ball, mostly all the places was smaller than the stadiums in Brazil. She sold a really good amount in 2012. Wasn't fail at all. 
 

2) I don't believe Gaga has the power to decide where she want's to perform. This is about business. She can't say "Oh, I wanna bring the tour to South America". They (Gaga's Team - Manager - Live nation and whateva) has to check if will give financial return. This is something bigger. As much as Gaga loves Brazil and wants to go there, that's something difficult - Not only for her, but for many other artists. Specially those ones who has big stages and stuffs - transport all this things to Brazil i'ts expensive and difficult. (Maybe that's the reason they put her on RIR, cause she didn't need to bring her own stage for that).

3) Any ticket is expensive in Brazil. That's a problem with the companies, tax, and many other factors. Again, gaga (Or other artist) doesn't have control of that. She cant's say: "Oh, that's a poor country, let's put the ticket for $50".

I agree that she missed something huge. I mean, 120k sold out was her biggest live audience. I just would be more happy if we understand that sometimes is out of her control.
My friends were in the airport yesterday and they saw her band and crew arriving. I really think she tried hard to recover at time for RIR and she didn't. And it's impossible to put her on another date, so RIR decided to cancel and refund.

Maybe in the future people can understand better. Maybe in the future she can decide to do some free concerts just to apologize herself (Even though I don't think she really doesn't need to apologize anyone for her illness) 
I understand how frustrating is for us in Brazil. I mean, on the Born This Way ball I had to save 1 year of salary to go. Was so much expensive. But again, that's not gaga's fault. 

I just hope she can come back in the future

How can a country mock someone who is in hospital? It is not her fault, do they think she wanted to be in hospital? I get that Brazil is not a rich country but seriously, her health comes first. She would not cancel unless she really had to, she used to say she would die for us on stage. She broke her hip because she wouldn't give up and rest or postpone the tour, she wanted to finish the BTWB for us, she has performed whilst having the flue, she performs whilst she vomits in between sets. The way the brazilian fans are reacting is disgusting, there are more important things in the world than a concert and to throw insults at a woman for being in severe pain, its ridiculous!

At this point, I actually do wish that she would cancel the tour, just because her health is extremely important.

Not to be super dark or anything, but I have thought about when Gaga is in a fatal condition, & just thinking about it hurts me so much, I wouldn't want it to come true.

Who cares about her "reputation" at this point and are you seriously worried about people laughing at her for not selling out 5 years ago? Its a shitty situation but your post seems so out of touch. Gaga is suffering from unbearable pain. She cares about disappointing fans but I'm sure she couldn't give two shits about getting her revenge or whatever for random people laughing at her 5 years ago.

SHE CANCELLED BECAUSE SHES IN HOSPITAL NOT BECAUSE SHE DIDNT CARE ABOUT DOING RIR. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
