Yes, aparently that part is going to mix with the notification bar so it wont look awkward, and the iPhone with the Touch ID sensor in the back is a fake render

No scanner, Touch ID will be replaced with Face ID, the frint camera will be upgraded to do those task. And Apple Pay too will use Face ID.

The Power button said to be much longer as the home button too. But we will see ☺️

i have a 5S still bc the little bugger still works and my contract isn't like a normal contract where i have upgrades and stuff, i just pay like £15 a month for as long as i want which gives me minutes and unlimited texting or whatever

The first couple of months will be quite ugly, that is inevitable. The app developers will need time to update the look of their app on iPhone 8. But after that, it seems it will be quite pretty actually.
