I had androids before I got my iPhone 6; I like the feel and features/interface iphone more. Plus I have a Mac, so iPhone is better compatible. And I'm planning on getting Apple TV.

I have a MacBook and S7 edge (I only have a MacBook because there was a discount at the time and I used my cousins student discount...this was 2013) My first phone was a Blackberry, but then got an S3 and been loyal ever since. I wouldn't mind moving to another Android phone, but just not iPhone for me.

I'm so pissed they're getting rid of Touch ID man wtf...

But also hella glad I waited on getting AirPods - I wonder if there will be other features coming other than the indicator light :poot:

It's apparently going to have a glass back, so glossy it is I guess

The OLED iPhone is going to be bigger than the current 7, smaller than the 7+

Welp I'm gonna need some really sturdy protection then :deadbanana:

Also not to be stupid but what's the difference between LED and OLED? I see this come up when looking around at TVs too :duck: Educate me Lord JGD

Basically, OLED screens are much more battery efficient and produce brighter, vivid colors, deeper blacks, and brighter whites

I also read that they're thinner and can allow for more battery space or a thinner phone (the OLED iPhone is supposed to be thicker than the current iPhone 7/7+, so we might see a bigger battery).  And better responsiveness on the touchscreen

Steve Jobs would've cried if he even glanced at the iPhone 6 design :madge:

Where's Johnny Ive :madge: They're just copying trends now :madge: Where's the innovation :madge:

If Steve was still here you would be stuck with 4" phones, no iPad mini and more money spent on trials against Android manufacturers than on R&D.

Jobs WAS a commercial genius. In the last years his creativity was completely fading and, stucked in his ivory tower, he was completely disconnected from the needs of the market.

------------

OT: I'm gonna need interesting features at the keynote or my esteem for Apple will hit a new low. Let's not even get started on the copy/paste design from their old phone.

Now you're all invited to Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL announcement on Oct 5th :lolly:

Just adding that you can't get better black because this technology turn off the black pixels. That's why it increases the battery life a lot and that you can see some phones with "Always on display" notifications

Get a 6S

The 6s sucks, I had it and switched it for the iPhone 7 Plus and I don't regret it.

An iPhone and iPod (RIP iPod nano and shuffle line of products :noparty:) yup! If they have a whole matte black and glossy black thing then that's gonna greatly extend my decision time so I'll probably end up waiting until that's sorted anyway :rip:

Don't get that glossy back thing, there are more chances of it having marks and the glossy back thing gets more easily dirty with finger prints.

If you want audio jacks, get the 6s, its a great phone, im not upgrading until it stops working. Im getting the iPhone 15 :poot:

6s a great phone? Come on, it's a shitty phone. I have the 7 plus now and it shits on it.

I think I'm keeping my 6s Plus for another year. It works fine, imo. Also, some people are saying a bigger version is coming next year so I want to wait for that if it does come.

I haven't had issues with my 6s besides battery issues tbh, but it seems a lot of people have that.

I mean if 6s is shitty then there are few good phones :air:
