Is Gaga disappointed in her fans?

Honestly, while I don't think she'd out-right admit that, I wouldn't be surprised. Sometimes the people who are harshest on you, are the people who love you the most. And to be frank, with a fan base like this one, I wouldn't blame her one bit.

The song can be interpreted in many ways but at the end of the day it's Kevin's demo and not exactly a personal song. I may be wrong tho, this theory makes a lot of sense.

my thoughts are gaga comes from a close knit family, something that hasn't changed since she became a star, so the fact that she was going through health and mental problems and was disappointed in fans, 95% of which she's never met or never had a conversation with, for seeming to not care about her health and mental problems seems a little 

when she was going through it, she should turn to family, those who know Gaga on an intimate personal level, not fans you've never met and people who don't even really know you. 

She felt betrayed that fans wanted more...what did she want instead? Majority of the time, here and other forums, when health and mental issues arose with Gaga her fans did seem concerned, and do send love and prayers, but what would she expect us to do beyond that? 

For her to say she felt betrayed, to me, seems a little much. Almost as much as fans who call her mother and mommy and genuinely believe it..

In an interview, when asked about the meaning behind the song Gaga kept talking about how we seem different on Instagram compared to real life. It kinda became a GGD meme.

she shouldn't be.... her fans are her biggest supporters, often bordering with delusional stanning , and they go as far as justifying everything she does.. no reason to be disappointed.... in fact, the only thing that should be disappointing is how they behave on social media and don't follow the message of kindness.

lmao I think this is a real proof that Perfect Illusion is about the fake love between Gaga and the monsters. Why the hell would she write about Instagram filters and nor in the MV neither in the lyrics you can find that. I mean, the MV says it all

Early on during the Joanne era, when she did a whole bunch of radio interviews, she kept saying that Perfect Illusion was about how "fake" people are on social media, and how social media has perpetuated this false image of what people should be like.

Perfect Illusion has an interesting story because while I guess some people may believe that she wrote it about Instagram filters and social media, I don't think that's the case. It's also interesting because I don't think she really wanted PI to be the lead single, hence why she might have made up this "it's about Instagram filters" thing. I don't know, it just doesn't seem like she was super interested about it being the lead single anyways. I remember another interview where Gaga said that "the label" choose PI to be the single, but then quickly back-tracked and said it was a "mutual decision," or something to that effect.

Maybe the documentary will reveal some stuff, but I don't know.

Well she couldn't say that it was about her relationship with her fans in an interview, this would've been so rude and inappropriate. I think she made it clear and she knew her fans would understand. Of course the purpose wasn't to hurt us, just to have a reflexion on it I think.
