It's kinda the opposite for me. I absolutely love her old music but I despise LWYMMD so much. I'm actually considering to unstan ha :selena:

why is the video good? i find it pretty tacky tbh

it's full of a lot of details and symbolism and it's very exciting to watch and the ending is very satisfying :poot:

I've always liked her but not obsessed. Excited for new music but not super into the direction she's gone.

I became a stan when she released 1989 so nothing has really changed, I'm still a stan and love LWYMMD

I never hated Taylor. Hate is a strong word and liked many singles since hdr debut. Red was the first album I heard of hers in full and i played 1989 alot. So yea I always liked her.

I also love how ambiguous it is. People who hate her find more reason to hate her, because they don't see they irony and only see it as her being petty and vengeful. People who like her see her as mocking herself, or maybe mocking the media (is it their "tilted stage" she's singing about?). I think this ambiguity might be intended, because she seems clever enough to do something like that. If it is intended, it is absolutely brilliant.

The album may turn out to be brilliant too. She really has a way with words, but I've always wished she could sing about more than just broken relationships (although I still love the 1989 album in it's entirety). This album will probably be less about broken relationships and more about fame and reputation, etc. I find that more interesting. If she can bring her skills as a wordsmith to bear on that subject, and create catchy hooks like she used to, the album will certainly be album of the year for me.
