We need a lot more positivity on this site. :golfclap:

Absolutely

But I think Excuse Me No's should be removed, because it gets mistreated a lot on this site.

And second of all, some people are like overly-sensitive,like in my last thread I was talking about Kesha and her new album Rainbow, but I accidentally tagged it as Gaga news and events, and I got a damn warning for it!Like,it was an accident, and wasn't it kind of obvious that I was talking about Kesha?

Gaga Monster

I think some of the content in the OP was targeted towards me and I will say this..

Just because I disagreed with what Gaga and her team did with the Backstage pass (ripping fans off for fast cash, greedy, wrong), doesn't make me a horrible monster. We are allowed to disagree with Gaga and her team, I love Gaga and thank her for all she has done and am so excited to see her live:hug:Agree, lets spread love, but its ok to disagree with Gaga sometimes

Very true. It's alright to express your disappointment, but just constantly being negative about the situation won't help matters at all.

Yes, intelligent discussion is so very important. Being negative on every thread serves no purpose.

I just wish this fan base was like it used to be is all. I'm sure Gaga does as well. :ohno:

Well if this is all true, can you really blame her? As a fan base, we have done nothing but drag Gaga through the mud for everything she has done since ARTPOP.

I never, ever hated on ARTPOP or even C2C, so do I get the right to complain about her tragic underinvolvement in her recent projects now ? :gaysia:

Stop. People knew what they were buying. They bought it willingly. That is not "ripping people off", no matter how many times you repeat it. You just had to put that in there....that's what the OP is talking about.

I completely agree. Gaga is the ARTIST and we are the FANS, meaning she creates what she wants and we can either like it or not. With that being said, Gaga owes us nothing. She built her career in order to express her own art. This does not mean that we as fans have to love everything she does, but it does mean that we can at least be civil enough to be respectful when we dislike something she puts out. It is not her job to cater to everything that certain negative fans are nagging her to do. We are here merely as those who appreciate what she has to offer, and we've become spoiled since she's traditionally been so good to us and taken the opinions of her fanbase to heart in almost everything she does.

Sorry for such a long post, clearly I had a lot of thoughts on this issue :toofunny:

I agree. But I hope she recognizes the fact most of her fanbase really admires her and would never mock her.

When Katy Perry criticized gaga for being too devoted to us, Gaga's mama bear claws came out and she fired back "I'd ****ing die for my fans" (ArtRave Las Vegas). To her, we'll always be her little monsters who need to be sheltered from the big bad world. We can't even begin to understand the strength of her love for us. She truly is "mama monster" in that her monsters are the reason she does everything. Like any good "mama", we mean the world to her. I'm not saying this applies to everyone but for the nasty vicious assholes, how dare you. She's been nothing but good to us. She could've said "buy my cd **** you" but she didn't. For a lot of us, she took us in when we had no one and she loved us as if we were her own. I'm not saying you aren't allowed to have opinions but there's a huge difference between saying "I don't like this for X y and z reasons" and just being a vicious asshole.

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

Some people hate on Joanne because it's not pop.

Some people hate on the era because she doesn't seem to enjoy it herself. Remember the ARTPOP era ? She couldn't stop talking about how hyped she was about it during interviews. She truly wanted to be close to us during the ARTrave. Yet people said it was a mess (musically-wise, I know it indeed was a mess in terms of management :toofunny:).

She seemed so happy during C2C... Yet people hated it because it was not pop.

She released Joanne, which was not supposed to be a 100% conventional pop album / era... Seeing the backlashes coming, she put a couple bops (not a lot, but still) like Dancin In Circles or John Wayne...

People were still not happy, because they missed ''old Gaga''.

So she sang only her old hits for the Superbowl (Don't tell me she included Telephone because she wanted to when she admitted hating it...) because she felt forced to. And... yeah, it did feel forced.

My point here is that people are not criticizing for the good reason.

She sould not be criticized for her music. She should be criticized for making music she doesn't want to make.

But this Mama monster feel you're talking about seems like it's all gone now... I definitely see why people are complaining.

She doesn't tweet anymore.

Her M&Gs are not M&Gs

She doesn't open fan letters, take people backstage or accept gifts anymore.

This doesn't make her a bad human. There's no law that makes her obligated to ''shelter us'' or something... but on the other hand you can't drag people for complaining about it.

I honestly don't feel ashamed of this fanbase. There are far worse fanbases.

Believe me I agree with you but I get the disappointment of those "meet & greets". If it's too dangerous she should just not do them. If not she just contradicts herself. And saying its to make the tickets cheaper. They are hella expensive anyway

Again I agree with you but I get why some people are having meltdowns

they're not meet and greets though, they're VIP backstage tours
