Smooth Criminal 2
But where is Do What U Want? Well it was #20 last week, so we'll find out tomorrow where it'll land this week.
Gaga is Life 101
NOOOOOO At least Royals had an epic amazing run in the top spot and it's still in the top 3. Let's hope it holds strong in the top ten and Team rises and rises
brownie 5
I really hate how streams count towards the chart. It's so dumb. No, it makes perfect sense. the H100 isn't a measure of sales, it's a measure of popularity. How many people stream a song should count towards that! Sales are for the digital songs chart. theotherside 0
But then you have songs like Harlem Shake going number one because of a YouTube video. It's dumb. The song isn't popular, the video is. The BB100 is supposed to measure the music. No, it makes perfect sense. the H100 isn't a measure of sales, it's a measure of popularity. The BB100 is supposed to measure the music. There wouldn't be a video...without a song. And no, if it just measured the music, only the best songs would top the charts. uo111 5,266
That's ummmm... pretty sad. Billboard is a joke. It's one thing to count official video views, but a parody? There wouldn't be a video...without a song. And no, if it just measured the music, only the best songs would top the charts. Did you seriously just say that like that would be a bad thing? Titzlol 607
Happy that Miley finally got her first #1 and viral video! and Royals had a good run! I wonder where Uncle will peak when its all said and done considering it has twice the airplay, a 2 week old Music video, more performances (one being the voice) Meanwhile Do What U Want has no video, bad airplay, promo, and barely any exposure and its still top 20 on iTunes and maybe Billboard too I think too now!!! zexion_armando 241
If Unconditionally wasn't such a horrible song, maybe it would do better. And finally. Once Lorde leaves the top 10, maybe it will be safe to listen to the radio for longer than 2 songs before Royals plays again.
theotherside 0
My point was that it's supposed to measure the popularity of the songs. People are only watching that video because it's funny. It has nothing to do with the song. At most, they should just count the music video. There wouldn't be a video...without a song. And no, if it just measured the music, only the best songs would top the charts.
