If you have bought 'The Fame USB' online beware... there are 'unauthorised' versions of it around now, after chatting to the designer of the fame usb for a paper i was doing on modern design in the music industry, we stumbled upon this little snag, she told me that the company that produces the USB's made one very short run of them and didnt do another run because the design was flawed which is why the 'limited edition usb drive' font and record company logos' bits looks odd because when the people who printed it converted it to a printable format they didnt covert the text and so it ended up in the wrong font. She told me that according to universal, the company responsable for manufacturing the USB did produce a more but unauthorised, by universal music, whats more.... they are undetectable, as they are made by the same company with the same design, so in actual fact are still official.
