Well we gotta read the fine print. Seeing a 2 minute video of the force can be moving

 

but if u keep resisting an officer, push him and lie with fake names, dont expect not to eventually get tougher force tbh. Shes not a complete victim here 👀

 

Still tho, for what it was i think it was overkill as what she was doing was not something posing danger to the neighbourhood. It was a trivial crime that could have been handled differently.

Without permits yes in many regions 👀

 

But here in Canada technically i think Garage Sales are not legal either and everyone does it. Every street has at least one in summer/spring and no cop ever does anything about it

 

I think some small things became an issue if cops have too little to do and decide to kill time by going after trivial things tbh

Maybe the problem was that it was next to a school?

Anyway, the police officer could handle it a bit different, force is not necessary, it's only to show that the cop is more "powerful"

Thats why i said both are in the wrong

 

the polices force i think was very agressive especially for a trivial crime that was not posing a danger to the neighbourhood

 

however if it was true she was running and resisting and giving attittude, dont expect the cops to just let it go tbh

selling flowers without a permit was not going to hurt anyone. Its a problem with the city that could be handled with a fine tbh...

 

and if she did push him... the cops could have restrained her without so much force... she clearly was not physically fit enough to put much of a fight

 

If the info is correct this woman was not a total victim. But the police neverthless reacted excessively to the situation based on info we have

 

it would have been different if what she was doing posed a direct threat to officers or others in the vicinity!

As for me, personally, I find it very dangerous and mostly annoying when people try to sell me stuff on the road, especially when I know that it's under the table, probably a fake product and that probably someone else is probably taking advantage of those people and letting them sell those things for a very low salary and no proper conditions.. and hmm it kinda freaks me out too so I would like to see this out of the road for good..

And hmm a person in that situation can be very strong, stronger than usual, it's the fear, shock and adrenaline together bringing a good mix of strength..

 Is that really worth arresting someone over? Sure she mightve been pushy or whatever, but im not gonna act like I think selling flowers without a permit should be a punishable offense in the first place

This is obviously overkill but she is not completely innocent. The reason you're not allowed to sell flowers without permits in public areas is of a health issue, one that affects me personally. Certain types of flowers can trigger an allergic reaction with me and make me go unconscious.

Edit: I don't want to get into the details about it cuz it makes me really self conscious so sorry if you want to more it's just a touchy topic for me
