boysboysboys 278
inb4 Princess Die becomes Hair 2.0. (Over-produced) Hair? Overproduced? Anyway, in essence I do want them to keep the mellow, tragic vibe of the song and not overglaze it.
Americano 31,061
No one would be complaining if she hadn't performed it beforehand. It may very well not be released, but she needs to stop doing that. People start to have expectations and then they have a meltdown when they hear the studio version is nothing like what they first heard. You & I can agree on that. This makes sense, but it's a little harder to keep momentum without giving people a taste. It's likely that she loved the moment and she was in front of a piano, so she gave a little piece off. craig 680
inb4 Princess Die becomes Hair 2.0. (Over-produced) Right now its underproduced. Hopefully Gaga learns that if she accustoms her fans to a song in ballad form, that it be made available that way as a bonus track.

At least then people will know to be more optimistic. It's common sense really, but some people just need to hear it from her.

Ozzy8923 9
I hope Gaga does a ballad like some of Rihanna's ballads a la Stupid In Love or Unfaithful, a TRUE pop ballad with a simple beat and PIANO instrumentation. Speechless isn't exactly a pop ballad since it incorporates elements of rock and the guitar in the song overshadows the piano. More of a power ballad per say. But the song is still magnificent nonetheless, I would just like to hear something more stripped down (but not so stripped down as Brown Eyes since I REALLY don't like that song). EDIT: Princess Die sounds very promising. I think an altering of the lyrics and a perfect studio version would be suited for the Deluxe edition and if it's really good, then it can go on the standard version of the album. Ozzy8923 9
Lady Gaga's facing backlash over her latest song. Read more here: Well, they are right in what they said regarding the lyrics, they are dark lyrics that convey suicidal emotions and there is clearly a sense of helplessness and despair in the song. However, I do think they are overreacting considering we don't even know if the song will be put on the record in the first place, and if it is on the record, I doubt it would be a single, so mostly Gaga's fan base will know about it, not suicidal teenagers.
