Do you question yourself or the fan base and think if we really are delusional like other fan bases call us?...

I'm in no way questioning Gaga's talent. But I'm pretty much pressed towards B and the throne everybody puts her in but the past few days I've been more understanding and maybe, just maybe, she is worth all of the praise she gets...

Anyways, returning to the main topic: do we make of Gaga something she isn't?

I personally know for sure I can't just 'unStan' since I pretty much owe her being on a runway in my avatar. She made me look at the mirror and to love what I see there. Just wanted to know if anyone else had questioned this to theirselves and I've been feeling a bit blue today so this is what came out of it.

No. Shes a pure person at heart and really cares about her fans and her music, so no, we are not delusional, it may feel that way because so many outsiders, as @RAMROD said, are " trying to make us believe she is unworthy" and just an attention *****. But i genuinely think shes a great person ( as i have mentioned twice) and she helped me accept myself and say " hey, its ok to be who i am and not to let others judge me". So there. thats my opinion on this topic.

So what was the question? Gaga is a talented vocalist, songwriter, producer, actress, dancer and a performer overall. She can sing pop, dance, electronic, funk, rock, R&B, country,  jazz, metal. We can't be delusional when Gaga is this talented.

No we aren't delusional...I truly think other fanbases are jealous because Gaga is an overachiever. Think about it - there isn't anyone who is on her level since Michael Jackson and he was ugly to look at and a lot of his videos were very corny and Disney/Halloween aesthetically.  All the other girls have something missing - Bey can't write or do interviews, Madonna can't sing, act or perform...Gaga is the first time a popstar has the complete package.  Everyone knows her potential, but when she falls short of it or tries something different to challenge herself (Joanne, Cheek to Cheek) that's when other fanbases pounce on us and bully us.

When it comes to taste in artists, i'm not sure you really can be 'delusional'. If you like them, you like them.

I like Gaga because she is theatrical, I enjoy her campy and avant garde persona, I love her as a performer, I think she is a great singer, I like her music, I think she can write catchy and interesting pop lyrics. Can that be a delusional thought? It's just my opinion. Even if everyone else in the world disliked her I would still like her performance style, her music, her voice and her lyrics.

I suppose people can be delusional when it comes to how talented or how much impact an artist has - but that's personal really. It's hard to make a blanket statement.
