Unfortunately Gaga wasn't nominated for that one this year, which is a shame. Regardless of whether she will be nominated or not, her performance received SIX nominations which is a huge achievement. They are awarding the art of being able to pull off a successful and entertaining live television event. Emmys award excellence in television, the award isn't going to the head of the panel at the Tonys/Oscars/whatever, it's for the production team that makes the broadcast work.
