She looked lost, she did not look happy and the performance had no concept. Maybe you're the one lying to yourself? Stop idealizing the past. Gaga has done amazing performance in the past, but the Super Bowl is one of her best. And that's a fact. You should at least be thankful for the amont of work she has put in that show. You're on a Lady Gaga forum, and you have every rights to express you opinion. But the only thing you're doing here is trying to convince everyone how bad is. I don't think you realize how disrespectful you're being right now. Nostalgia can be a very strong feeling, but please, if you have a trouble dealing with you emotions, go see someone. We don't need your never-ending negativity here.
HausOfSynth 29
I understand what you are saying, I actually find myself wondering that sometimes as well. But Gaga still is the same girl she was years ago, just more mature. I personally like how humble she is these days but I do get sad to see that she doesn't have much time to communicate with monsters as much as she use to. But she is busy with a lot at the moment. Puddin 1,207
Yes she has changed, but that's natural. It comes with time and age. I don't blame or hold it against her for wanting to be..."toned down" she's a grown woman now and obviously her priorities have changed. While I do miss 2009-2011Ga, it's completely understandable for her to lay low now, it becomes exhausting doing the same thing year after year. I'm here for whatever makes her happy. I'd rather her be healthy and doing the stuff SHE wants to do, even if that means less content for us. I love that woman I want to support her through this journey. HairBow 599
All I'm saying is this: If I were famous, I would just have my PR run my social media accounts. I would not want to use them myself AT ALL. Fanbases can be really toxic, y'know? And Lady Gaga used to read through almost everything people posted back in the day. I think she reached her "enough is enough" point, and I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner.
Letmelivemylife 8,715
The connection with her monsters is still there and it will be there until the last beat of her heart ♥️ Remember this is the woman who has "little monsters", "mother monster", and a "monster paw" permanently tattooed onto her body. In fact, the monster paw is over her heart (or more the section of ribs that protect her heart). It's her way of saying we'll always have her heart. She'll always see us as the little monsters in the glitter and discosticks no matter how old we get. We can't even begin to imagine how much she loves her monsters ♥️ I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
NCgaga 4,323
I get what you're saying. A lot of us fell in love with the "Avant Gard" fierce Gaga, that was great at performing, and always stayed runways. To me, her image has always been as important as her music, because that's what she sold us on. I understand her love of music, and wanting to simplify the image to concentrate on the music, but in a way it seems unfair to take such a big part of herself away. She is the most talented popstar today. Musically, she has stepped her game up as far as vocals, and musicality. Image, she has really, really changed. I want to be constantly SLAYED by her, because I know she has that spark. Lots of us were freaking out at the halftime show because she gave us a taste of what once was. BRING IT BACK!! She is human. We change. We evolve. But it doesn't mean I don't miss her.
Miel 15,009
I think she just grew as an artist. She probably loves music as much as before, maybe more than ever. But everything else? She probably has a much different take on all the glitz and glamour. 3 points in and ready for more
13VictorC 1,102
I hear you. Gaga used to wear her passion on her skin. Maybe the deceptions that Fame brought changed her. But I think that part of her is still in there. We just can't see it during this particular era as well. She reminded me of that creative and fearless attitude at cetain times like INTELXGAGA ad, SB LI, MetalliGa, Coachella, RuPaul's Drag Race.

Irrelevant 20,282
The hip injury and Taylor had definitely changed her in a way she seems, but overall she still has that iconic Gaga vibe that we love JWT will hopefully finish her comeback, Joanne was a great comeback album tbh 광야로 걸어가 알아 네 home ground

merlot 5,772
honestly coachella was a hot mess except for the intro and the backdrops other than that everything fell flat
Monster Voices 1,024
Her best friend was dying how can she be fully devoted to her job. And I think this fan base has lost a some of her love and for a good reason. Some fans always demand and demand and never understand. She has changed. So what? Forever and Always!
