Is there at least any fanmade extended instrumentals or mashups with the "In Like With You" instrumental?? *sigh* why would Gaga's ex manager waste such a catchy instrumental?? ARTPOP had so much potential but we got an EDM mess instead.

From personal experience I know for a fact that ARTPOP 1.0 was about decay of the blonde ala Marilyn Monroe and that the entire concept changed after her hip was torn and redid many of the tracks, but not sure if the sound changed. Yeah, she did say on littlemonsters.com IIRC, that the criticism about her weight killed the blonde and that she usually dyes her hair brunette when she's sad. It was around the time she said she was sad about her fans commenting on her weight in Brazil. Also whatever happened to that one track, the "complextro masterpiece"? She was talking about Princess Die uptempo version and the 2 ARTPOP volumes and she described the music as hardcore glam and techno.
yes and 4,884
Not at all. But album could be more light, funny and modern without greek mythology and pseudo-arts probably. Hip injury changed everything. Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No
Miel 15,009
There was some discussion on what the sound was originally going to be like, based on the artRave version of PARTY AUSEOUS. If anything, it probably was an even harder/more unconventional (at the time) take on heavy EDM. I mean, in the end, we got a relatively level pop album with some heavier hitters (Aura, Swine, MJH). 3 points in and ready for more

TEANUS 14,974
Yes, more experimental Burqa, Mary Jane Holland, and PARTYNAUSEOUS and less watered down Sexxx Dreams and Swine (in terms of overproduction). shoful 13,304
Ughh ARTPOP is such a mystery. I wamt her to just sot down and have a tell all about ARTPOPs process and what she thinks of the album now. The same way I wanna know what madonna thinks of Erotica now (well she kinda answered it recently) Those two albums are so hypnotic. I want to know all about how they were made and what the artist thinks about them. "My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..."

They basically just explained that the label made her redo most of the tracks and the concept after she tore her hip.
