I don't see the problem with the first guy. He was polite. That was more her issue. Most Fat, Asian,black and fem men go through worse on Grindr than what that first guy said. I mean, if we're going by strict definitions it is? Not being attracted to a woman because they are trans specifically, not including other factors. I acknowledge that it's not going to be easy because of the way we live and the way we are socialized into incredibly binary gendered structures- people who claim to like women will dislike trans women solely because they are trans and do not perceive them as women, and that is transphobic. But, it's an unfortunate reality that that hasn't been unpacked yet as a collective society. If somebody wasn't sexually attracted to a woman because of their character, lifestyle, whatever- that's not transphobic. But if they are immediately writing them off and disregarding them as women because they are trans, then it's veering into transphobic territory.
