Pitchfork: Taylor Swift is a musical wunderkind

I hear and read so much praise for this girl, but her music is so basic and for 10 year olds. I remember my work one time played some of her songs and I heard something along the lines of "this beat is sick" and it was the most cookie cutter basic production ever. Nothing sick about it, you honestly couldn't even dance to it, unless you awkward mom dance. Anyway, with all this praise she gets, she needs to deliver something mature. If she has so much potential, I want to see what she can do. The basic songs are tired and lazy.

She needs to write a mature album about serious adult stuff and then maybe she will be taken seriously.. These teeny boppers like blank space and shake it off aint helping her case

Yet she still sells bunch of singles, albums and is a massive touring force? Why ditch things which work? Not to be bitter or something, but Gaga could have same things if she wasn't sometines too pretentious about her work being pure art and how she is above all, people need and want to relate to artist, that's what keeps artist selling and people enjoying their stuff.

And stars like Selena and others, who literally does a video about being in school and how she is a good liar is next level adult things, but Taylor always gets hate for literally anything, no wonder most of here bandwagoners calling her snake and other stuff.. People so easy to manipulate, since they want to see what they want and they are scared to have a different opinion from masses..
