What’s everyone’s thoughts on SMO?? I feel it’s very MARIO 64, which I’m totally loving.

I love it! Though motion controls for using specific moves are a hassle, and a lot of the moves have similar ways to activate to others, but other than that. Amazing!

I went through YouTube and saw Thumbnails. Still shocked me in game though. :selena:

I'm the one person who goes onto like Mariowiki (:poot:) and sifts through some info about the game and then I dig myself into an inescapable hole of spoilers that eventually ends with me desperate for the game :laughga:

(also actual spoilers under this spoiler tab fyi :selena:)

Spoiler

i'm srs gonna spill some spoilers if you haven't heard them :selena:

Spoiler

when i heard the final level was on the 'DARKER SIDE' of the moon i was like "AsdhgFHGWGPWRJG space is cool, galaxy was amazeballs. gimme more" :selena: then I kept digging and digging and digging and now I'm in spoiler heaven :cryga:

Okay I'm genuinely shook and I felt like sharing this at least somewhere :selena:

One of the lyrics to 'Jump Up, Super Star!' (main theme of Mario Odyssey that Pauline sings) is "We're the ones who've made it this far".

I have a feeling Nintendo may be referencing themselves in this line :gum:

Think about it, every old IP from when Nintendo got super popular is dead essentially. Atari is gone and Sega is slowly coughing itself to death :poot: yet Nintendo are STILL on top of their game after like 30-ish years :tony: Iconic :sis:

A reach? Possibly :poot:

For those who have played BOTW, is is harder than previous Zelda’s? I’ve only played Twilight Princess, Windwaker, Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time. Is it harder as those?

I’m too poor to afford it now, and I seriously can’t wait to play it. :tony: (Darn holidays :grr:)

I’m loving it so much  It brings me back to spending countless hours doing the same star missions on Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine :flutter: I like how there are bigger missions that reward you with moons and then just across a ledge you can jump and ground pound and something as simple as that can net you a moon too :laughga: Makes you really scour the beautiful worlds they’ve created, especially for those darn purple coins :toofunny:

I’m not sure if I’m qualified to answer because I’ve only beaten one Divine Beast so far :emma: I think it just doesn’t spoon feed you which makes it more difficult right away but you learn very quickly, well you’re forced to otherwise RIP constantly :rip:

I’ve played almost every Zelda. Majora’s Mask was the hardest for me, and I find breath of the wild easier than that.

I haven't played THAT much, but Maj is probably harder. BOTW takes a bit of time to get used to, but you eventually do.

If like anyone cares:

Rocket League has a launch date, and it’s the 14th! Of November. :selena:

I’m pretty sure it’s completely digital but okay. :selena:

Doom!  And Xenoblade to follow up. Except I only played X, and idk if I wanna get 2 considering I never played 1. :poot:

So much stuff and not even a year in. And we have Kirby, Yoshi, Metroid Prime 4?, and a Pokémon RPG? coming out next year. (Possibly Pikmin 4 but still, I have hopes.)

And then I realized how many open-world sandbox games we have. Switch delivering. Nintendo Slaying. Hype Train has no stop. :firega:
