Artist that you stanned for a long time but then it faded away?

I was really a big a fan of P!nk, I used to listen to her albums non stop, like I'm Not Dead was the soundtrack of 16 years old me and Funhouse as well, but something went off when Just Lie Fire and The Truth About Love were released, I was not feeling them much, I was also in a weird place at the time, and then I just stopped listening to her, I just didn't care anymore.

There are more examples like Linkin Park, Britney, Xtina, Gaga during Joanne, and others.. 

It's kind of sad that sometimes you just move on from artists you loved and you can't find the will to rediscover them again. it's like a weird breakup.

Idk if I ever "stanned" them, but the steep, rapid falloff from Maroon 5 was depressing

Came here to say P!nk for the same reasons as you

I was never a stan but I really liked her around Funhouse, Try, ****in Perfect etc 

After that it just became more of the same, but worse

Just Like Fire, Never Gonna Not Dance Again, etc ... Ew 

 

Also Kelly Clarkson, I loved Breakaway, My December and All I Ever Wanted but haven't loved her recent stuff as much

Kanye West. What a shame that a musical genius had to go and tarnish his reputation so badly. I relistened to the masterpiece Late Registration again recently and it just made me sad. Playing Kanye's old music feels like hearing a friend you lost and so I seldom bother.

I've been stanning Taylor for the past 10 years but that has also been fading for obvious reasons in the past 6 months.

oh yeah Kelly the son of Clark, Because of You devastated me so bad, but I never got into her after that.

I think she tried hard to be rock-pop singer and break her american sweetheart title, but it always felt fakey and not really her.

For me as well after Circus, FF was a nice comeback, but it was not wow enough to keep me invested.. I didn't even listen to BJ and Glory yet lol, I just don't care about these albums honestly.

Songs About Jane was a great album and then they turned into dogshit. Maroon 5 has been so deeply uncool for so long that it's weird to even think they were valid at one point.

The closest I ever came to stanning someone was P!nk. I was the right age for all her teenage angst/I hate my parents music to resonate strongly lol 
But in the true definition of stanning, I've never comitted to any one (we have theories as to why in therapy). 

Like with Gaga, adored her from day 1. Consumed everything, saved and failed to get BTWB tickets etc. Still haven't seen ASIB/HoG and have never listened to C2C/L4S all the way through more than once lol. 

I just don't get to the stan point with anyone.
