Fashion Baby 283 Posted July 7, 2017 Share Posted July 7, 2017 I don't agree with abortion (only if there's situations like a women gets pregnant after being rape, for exemple) because there's lots of contraceptive methods to choose from (the condom being the best one because it prevents a pregnancy and protects you from STDs). There's lots of people who are miseducated abou this in this day and age and it's truly sad. And these are the same kind of women I could very easily imagine using this as a way to brush off getting pregnant as a mere inconvenience. Believe it or not, women as dumb as this exist. If you have an issue with the use of literal terms such as using the words 'abortion pill' to describe a pill that aborts a pregnancy, I think this maybe isn't the discussion for you. We have free no no questions asked abortion in the UK and while there is some abuse of it, it hardly is used as a 'retrospective' form of contraception as you seem to be describing. There are many reasons why a pregnancy could happen, people make mistakes. A child should not have to live an unhappy life with bad parents simply because abortion is not an option. Personally, I'd rather every woman who wants an abortion gets one. That way children don't have to grow up under these circumstances. For example, if two people are in a happy relationship who are both in University, trying to make something of themselves, accidentally fall pregnant, why should they be forced to have the baby? Maybe they were stupid and didn't use contraception, but would you want them to have the baby and not be able to succeed and give the child a comfortable and happy life? Lol I have zero problems with abortion coming in pill form, I simply don't love the words (as I've told you already, 3rd time's the charm I guess) "abortion pill." No one calls depression medication "anti-suicide pills."
