Most people won't. Taking a huge dose of hormones isn't fun for a female's body, neither is being pregnant up to six weeks. Nobody cheers for or celebrates abortion, people may celebrate the right to abortion but that isn't nearly the same thing. Pregnancy is extremely taxing on the body and not everybody is able to go through with that, may it be for physical, mental or financial reasons. If a person is in such a state where they have resorted to aborting a baby it raises the question of if the person's life was in that place should they really have a child on their hands? No suffering happens to the fetus when an abortion happens, the baby is in an 'unconcious' state until up to 24 weeks, so I believe in some cases abortion is the most humane option for both the mother and the baby; neither have to go through unnecessary suffering. I do think abortion should be ruled out past a certain amount of weeks because after then the person should have a reasonable idea that they're not cut out for pregnancy and raising a child but it shouldn't be banned completely imo Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

They won't. That's a conservative talking point that has been proven to not occur but people still bring it up like it's a possibility. No one unintentionally gets pregnant intentionally.
