My version of artRave storyline

I actually thought about doing this as well because of some post I saw a few days ago. I did my own analysis back then, some parts are the same and some are different, overall it's more simple, I'll let you judge :

The beginning of the artRave. She sings ARTPOP and introduces us the meaning of the album and what she wants to celebrate tonight : art and creativity.

      

Then she does G.U.Y and Donatella (and previously Fashion!). These songs and the performances are fun and not serious, especially the two latter ones. She wants to show the first and most simple meaning of music and performing : she wants to have fun and to have a good time.

Then she does Venus and MANiCURE. She loves having fun but it doesn't mean she forgets what's really important, and what has been her message throughout her albums : love and tolerance.

Because she wants her fans to understand this message, she tells her story. At the beginning, she had hits like Just Dance, Poker Face and Telephone. It made her become big and loved by the public.

    

And then she sings Paparazzi and DWUW. Both songs are about fame, how the paparazzi and the media treat her, but each one was written at a different stage of her career. With Paparazzi she had a kind of "fantasized" image of this, hence the octopus. She was not living it for real. But with DWUW things became real and it was more dangerous for her : her outfit is very simple, she took away the rest of the outfit that kind of protected her. She sits in this monstrous hand that takes her up... She does it on purpose, she could fall and break something, she's not always conscious that her love for fame is dangerous for her. She tells how the media tried to bring her down all these years.

   

But then she goes to her piano and remembers what brought her here : her love for music and her talent. She sings Yoü and I, a song that shows her musical talent, but more importantly Born this Way and Dope, songs she wrote for her fans for different reasons. She remembers that despite the haters, she still has her fans who support her no matter what, and she needs them (Dope) as much as they need her (Born this Way).

She sings Judas, Aura, Sexxx Dreams and Mary Jane Holland. These songs all have a dark side and are about her "sins" and bad sides : loving the wrong men, being addicted to sex, weed, hiding herself behind outfits... But she's not afraid to show this to her fans because she knows they accept her and she's happy she can open up about these subjects in her music.

Then she sings Bang Bang, another dark song but in another genre. She's not afraid of showing her dark side because the fans know she's talented and she can show her talent in a lot of different genres. She can be a classy lady...

... and a crazy gaga. She sings the monstrous Bad Romance, the theatrical Applause and the tornado Swine. Another reason why her fans love her is for the craziness and the effort she puts into her shows, even if it's sometimes exaggerated. But as her fans, they know the woman behind these outfits, they know it's all a show and she can change effortlessly.

The fans know it all comes to this : this woman and artist with multiples outfits and genres, who just had one message to deliver. Love yourself and love each other. With Gypsy, she reminds them that it will never be over, even though the show is ending.

I love it!!! Specially the Paparazzi/DWUW part. And the bright side/ dark side concept is really amazing! Artrave slaying once again!
