Teletubby 158,148
Madonna has drafted in a star-studded cast for the huge video which will launch her comeback. Kate Moss and film stars Gwendoline Christie and Benedict Cumberbatch were all recruited. Alongside the big-name cameos, her crew shot a car crash, wild warehouse rave and a massive dance scene, with extras suspended from the ceiling on wires. Madonna, hired the entire studio and shot across six stages, with a hundreds-strong crew. “She had her own trailer which was heated at 28C at all times. “Fans can expect to see it in the coming weeks.” https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/38471976/madonna-celebs-epic-comeback-video/ No One Cares About You 28

I don’t even like Madonna but yes she will always be relevant simply for being MADONNA. There is no doubt that she is a legend. also just cuz someone ages doesn’t mean they still can’t make art Edited March 10 by huttont 26 1 3

She'll always be relevant through the art of all the pop stars she inspired and influenced, and that includes Gaga. 2 1 1 1

I know thats a wild concept in this fan base. I'm kind of hyped for this music video. I feel like she's not put this kind of effort in for years at this point. That alone has me interested. Imo she put quite a lot of efforts into the music videos for Living For Love, Ghosttown, Bitch I'm Madonna, Medellin, God Control

Living for Love/Ghosttown/Bitch I'm Madonna were high budget but I wouldn't call them high effort. Especially not by her standards. Bitch I'm Madonna was just a lazy house party with a load of Tidal artists as PR for that platform. Ghosttown was cute but basic. Living for Love by Madonna's standards was half arsed, by most other pop acts its a good video. But for her, it was just a singular & simplistic video with little variation. It felt more like the kind of videos she used to put out mid tour rather than to launch an era for me personally. I don't remember the Medelling video, thats how much it impacted me. I mean, I wouldn’t call Madonna’s release schedule any more “regular” than Gaga’s, but I agree that there’s no reason to drag her for doing her job lmao. That being said, I really hope she turns the party with this one because I’ve been pretty lukewarm on most of what she’s released since COADF We have forgotten our public MANNERS

And the break after MX only happened because of her near 2 decade old leg injuries coming back to haunt her. I genuinely think she'd have kept going at her usual 3-4 year pace if it wasn't for her legs finally giving in, combined with how the public started treating her in regards to her age & image around that era. I do think we hit a moment where Madonna was mentally checked out and prepared to call it quits - like the rumours around the Celebration tour before it launched was that it was a farewell tour in all but name. To be quite honest‚ I don't know if she still counts as "regularly".. She did not release any albums this decade (2020-2026).. this will be her first in a long time.
