Issues with this fanbase

Some things need to be said - I think negativity in this fanbase is an ignored issue. 

To clarify something before I start; if you feel offended, or feel like I'm coming for you.. then good. 'Cause that probably means, that you're falling into one of these categories, and you really should consider changing your attitude and mindset. 

 

Gagas (and Christians) relationship/private life is a real hot topic these days - and not in a good way. Most of this fanbase says they want the best for Gaga, and that they want her to be happy - which she seems to be now, and yet people keep complaining; about Christian, about her choices of fashion and other unimportant things. I understand and respect people having opinions, I truly do. But having an opinion, and throwing **** at people online, is two very different things, and it seems a lot of people (in this fanbase) don't know the differene. They don't know where to draw the line, when to shut up. 

People not knowing when to shut up, or where to draw the line, also applies for other topics, such as Gagas health, choices of cosmetic proceedures and weight. Recently I saw someone using 'FatGa' as a way to describe Gaga, I see people say ''Oh she looks so healthy, but she'has kinda gained weight. She's not as skinny as she was before,'' - You need to stop, literally. Good thing some of you got your Instagram links on display, 'cause baby.. I can't do nothing but laugh. Not to mention Epione. People have meltdowns everytime she goes there. Yes, sometimes she might have gotten a lil' too much, but never to a point, where it was worth crying, or calling her ugly, or whatever people have done. Why are these things even relevant for us as fans? What does any of these things have to do with her music and career? Why are they so important to you? I don't get it. 

Moving on to a classic; ''I wish she was more like the old Gaga. I wish it was more like The Fame Monster,'' - I'll make it quick. We wont get another The Fame Monster, we wont get a second Born This Way, and you need to accept that. Stop being stuck in 2011. If you haven't noticed, Gaga isn't like any other pop star; she doesn't stay in the same lane and sound; she always pulls off something new, and that is exactly why she keeps being relevant. It is what makes her exciting and standing out from any other pop star out there - and if you still haven't realized that.. I'm done. 

I'm tired of people whining, about which ways Gaga chooses to go with career, and what music she makes - 'cause shes doing those things, because she loves them, and because she loves us. 

 

There's probably a lot more issues, that I could have written down, but these are just some of the current things that are going on. I see negativity, and people being rude on this forum daily. This isn't us, or, at least it shouldn't be - our community is meant to about compassion, love and acceptance, but I rarely see those things in our community anymore. I know a lot of people are going to be mad about this thread, but we can't keep ignoring all this hate, and all this negativity. All it does, is seperating us, and ruin the beauty which this fanbase once were - back when it was just about the music, and being a part of something bigger than just a fanbase. When it was about being Little Monsters.

people just like acting tough behind computer/phone screens and its as simple as that and sadly theres nothing we can do about it.

its not just here its all over social media as well cause while someone will bash or belittle someone online you know damn well they wouldn't confront a person in real life cause then they would actually have to defend themselves vs just "posting" something.  i agree with what you stated though  but you can't let it bother you if someone is so insecure with themselves that they have to speak negatively about gaga or just everything in general.

It frustrates me when these kids decide to stan Lady Gaga- an artist known for changing constantly- but then complain when she changes. You're either on the train or you're off it. Don't decide to come on and then complain about everywhere we stop.

It's just sad that it has come to this point - as if it has become normal to be this way to eachother online.

people like this can be found in every fan base nowadays, I guess it's inevitable 

but the fact that people like you are noticing these things and pointing them out means that at least some people realize that Gaga is not a puppy or a toy for us to play with, she's a human being like all of us and we should really treat her as one even if she is famous or our icon...

and don't get me wrong I'm definitely one of those people who sometimes complains too much and makes stupid jokes about EpionGa but I'll always respect or at least try to understand Gaga and her decisions no matter what because that's what a fan base should do.. respect should always be the priority

Agree for the most part but this shouldn't mean we can't criticize her in any way or form. If presented in a proper and respectful way, it shouldn't be an issue. We're not following her blindly here. Or we shouldn't be anyway. But like I said, I agree for the most part.

very sad, i personally don't attack people and have to state that I'm not being shady on here sometimes cause i don't like hurting peoples feelings (its wrong on so many levels) but on the other hand I'm the kind of person who will confront someone in everyday life if i see wrong or someone tries to come for me cause thats just the kind of person that i am!

as long as you support gaga for what she does and still feel inspired by her then keep doing you cause she is all about kindness and acceptance which can't be said for some people in this fanbase or just a general statement for the online world!

I love the first two points you make, the last one is kind of whatever for me at this point because I'm tired of the fans that can't let go of those eras and I just laugh now because Gaga is not going back.

People who do the stuff you're saying are really stupid and immature and I wish they had the nerve to say those things in person so they can be put in their place. I have a special problem with people who call her ugly, fat, etc, like if those things were said about them in the same amount they are said to Gaga they will probably be on the edge of ending their lives but still they do the very same thing to another human being.

I just feel like if we keep hiding this problem away, it's just gonna get nastier - someone needs to speak up and shed some light. It might not do ****, but atleast I tried, and might I've made someone think twice next time. 

I get that cosmetic procedures can be dangerous - but I think it's important that people get educated about them, before they start saying whether it's right or wrong.

I know people in real life, who get's botox, fillers, restylane, nose recunstruction - all without going under the knife. These cosmetic techniques has become so advanced.

I agree with everything you said but there are some things that we should not mess with and those are her relationships, specially when we don't know the people involved, and her physical appearance, I'm not saying her looks because I also criticize them, but her actual physical appearance.

I totally agree. And as I said, I respect people have opinions - and no, we can't all agree. But the thing is, that people don't seem to present their opinions or thoughts in a proper way no more. It's like as if a comment with lots of rage and big words, is for some considered more valid, than someone who is actually capable, of speaking nicely and having valid arguments.

But she is like every other human, and she has the right to do whatever she wants to do.

And making fun of her weight or lifestyle in general is wrong, and I agree monsters should stop doing that. But reminder that in most cases, monsters are joking and they are still her fans to death for a reason.

I don't expect people to agree or understand everything she does - but it's her choices, and that's something people just gotta accept. Agreeing, understanding and accepting er three very different things.
