I think any of those people would beat Trump in 2020 but if had to pick from that list, it'd be Elizabeth Warren. She'll be able to unite the Hillary and Bernie wings of the party and I think with enough hard work, be able to bring back people who voted for Obama but ditched Hillary.

I see why that could seem that way. But if you think the Republicans hated Hillary, they abhore Elizabeth Warren. Like abhore her.

She comes off as a little teachy too which could turn off middle of the road voters. Where Trump has the "Who doesn't agree with me approach" in his talk, she has a preachy "Let me tell you what is right so you must listen" approach. Alot of regular people find that annoying.

Then there's a fact that she's far left. Not moderate. That could hurt her. Especially since the country just leaned super right recently. Don't you think it would fare better if the Democrats chose a moderate populist?

I think a center left Democrat that appeals in a populist way is the best bet. The Democrats don't need to pick the most intelligent candidate (look who they're up against). They need to pick a candidate who American people feel like that would stick up for them/relate to them.

Believe it or not, I think many felt like they couldn't relate to Hillary. That was problematic. The country needs a friendly president right now.

I see why you'd say that about her but I stand by my original comment

Honestly I'm not sure how it will go. Socially things have plateaued. The economy is doing well, though. (Stock overall up, taxes lowering, and 1.2 million open jobs now which means higher wages in 2018). But it's foreign policy that I think will be a big 2020 question, actually.

There's alot of foggyness surrounding ISIS, China, NK, and Israel. I wonder if that hurts or helps Trump. Time can only tell.

As an Israeli I can speak about Israel, he's playing on both fields and in some sense playing the Netanyahu game.. he says what both sides wants to hear (to move the embassy to Jerusalem for example and then nothing happened) and also the Netanyahu game means to speak about happy days while doing nothing, everything is for the show to shut up everyone..

A Democrat who appeals to the brainwashed white people who voted for Trump thinking he was gonna give them everything.

Basically we need someone to lie and appeal to these easily fooled group to take back the White House.

Hillary already won the majority and I'm sure most people who voted for her will not vote for Trump.
