no, they get killed in the battlefield defending their country. :oprah:

It's literally their choice to become marines. And don't tell me they "do it for their country" no country needs murderers abroad. Armys are a mistake, specially in the hands of countries like the US, they've started more wars than they have finished.

I think America's patriotism has turned into blatant nationalism in recent years. Someone who "disrespects" the flag causes just as much outrage as an officer shooting unarmed black people. Something is out of proportion.

but they're risking their lives on behalf of their country.

it was their choice to die for their country

i think that shows we owe them the respect to not recreate a major historical picture that means a lot to those serving

childish why? 'cause i refuse to take your absurd points on how much the soldiers suffer? i won't take ptsd from them, and i'm sure vets go through a lot, but they willing alist in an army that was brought so much disgrace for this world.

i disagree that we have to show respect to a picture. it's a picture. it may be a symbol to many but calling disrespectul the recreation with a pride flag jut shows how deep rooted your LGBTphobia is.

i am not from the usa.

i am not against LGBT. you are assuming. i would not be in this fanbase right now, on this site. i wouldn't dance or sing to born this way.

i wouldn't have a gay friends.

i'd react the same way if it were a confederate flag, a canadian maple leaf, etc.

it's disrespect to the history behind the photo.

don't tell me what i am.

read the comments on that post.

there are many people like me, who agree that it is disrespectful and aren't anti-lgbt. hell i even saw one person who is gay that said it is disrespectful. read for yourself.

And I'm not afraid to speak up on this site. I may not be apart of the LGBT community, but that's not important. I still stand behind them.

Why else would I stan Gaga and have a gay best friend?

I know I cannot be one of the only ones with a stance like this on this site. I think some people are afraid to speak up because we know how they can be and take it. :giggle:

Lmao you totally sound like the stereotype "I'm not homophobic I have a gay friend and I listen to gay music" :air:

Oh oh the like police is here :awkney:

I can do what I want to lmao, if I want to like or unlike a post I can do it.

Just act like the ally you say you are.

Gaga is an ally to the LGBT community, so if you don't know what to do just take her as an example cause she's a really great ally.

i am an ally. but i can have a differing opinion. i don't have to agree with everything because i am a part of this fanbase.

i take pride in my country.
