KyliesChild 16,907
Gaga's still an immensely popular artist without a doubt but over the years she hasn't really accumulated many fans after the backlash she's faced back in 2011-13. The Cure is a mainstream song which—sonically—sounds like what has been popular since 2015 and therefore radio airplay, streaming, and sales (because of the discount) have increased. Lady Palutena 3,060
It has the same overdone sound and production that over-saturates the radio these days with simple and easy to digest lyrics. That's really the only reason. Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.

artRaver 3,188
Because it's a song you can actually add to your Summer '17 playlist without your friends judging you or throwing off your vibe. Easy on the ears, tropical house, catchy and easy to digest lyrics for the mainstream? Issa hit. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿
Delusional Aura 5,129
It would be number #1 if Gaga tweeted about it. But it's okay she's still promoting million grammys.

ZephyrInTheSky 1,235
People (mostly the gayz online) love to throw the word FLOP around so much. Its like if something doesn't hit top 5 its automatically a flop. There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.
