Ew.  Republican politicians are just as bad as democrats.  All they do is what their lobbies tell them too.  They are all bought out by corporations and superPacs.  We like Trump because he doesn't give into that.  You can't predict his next move.

:madge: A high ego, hypocritical business man is not what you want. And it's obvious that Trump IS the person to be bought out considering his vast amount of hypocrisies. He hasn't actually done anything yet and continues to blame others for his. Again, choose a different conservative to bow down to.

This. This is what no one understands about why people voted for Trump. Because we wanted someone, ANYONE, who isn't completely controlled by lobbyists and the deep state, like Obama, Hilary, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., etc. etc...

But he's controlled by his own business and personal interests which is arguably *more* concerning. You don't host foreign dignitaries at your golf resort you claim to not have stakes in anymore and charge them for it. He is controlled by interests, they're just his own.

Thats not to say it's all bad, though. Lobbyists serve their purpose in government by making issues known to the legislators. There's quite a number of great lobbyists, the issue is when mega corporations send their hoards of lobbyists in but as a principle they're a very good and healthy thing.

The Trumpsters are STILL going at it :ladyhaha:

Let them be guys, they dont want to listen, because they need to believe in their superiority. Self-hate is a terrible thing. Just hope they don't drag the entire American LGBT community down with them in their delusion.

Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.

We don't expect him to be perfect, or know everything he's doing. It's part of the reason we chose him, because 30 years of establishment politics has put us trillions of dollars in debt, and in too many wars we had no business in.

Everyone understands the sentiment. It's just completely misguided when Republicans are the ones who refuse to do anything good for the American people. Then they let the false equivalency take down both parties and feed on the resentment to win elections with less than a majority of votes through the electoral college and gerrymandering. Now they are pushing policies that will start more wars and bankrupt the middle class and drive up inequality further. Congratulations.

No, sis, I'm talking about them.

They're saying we're ignorant, "muslims" lovers and brainwashed, but look at their arguments. Tragic. :madge:

sources of muslim attacks only :madge: I'm tired of people pretending like Christian extremism isn't a thing, especially when IRA existed and when the US suffered from attacks on abortion clinics

Please, don't associate what is going on in this thread with all people who aren't democrats. I for one consider myself to be a Libertarian (it's the closest label that I'll accept) not a Republican-hence, these last months haven't been that great for me either. It is possible to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal. If anything I am even more angry than many democrats in that he is neither demonstrating tolerance nor the ability to balance a budget/truly cut spending. :saladga: :madge:

And not everyone is so simple minded as to be a single issue voter. Radical Islamist's who throw gay people off of rooftops are much more of a threat to my life and well-being then American religious activist groups, or a baker who wont make a cake lmao. :giggle:

I am terrified of being denied an apartment to live in or be secure in that my sexual orientation will not determine whether or not I get/keep my job.

Oh, radical islamists. Yep, I'm glad that's a reason you voted for this bigot (if you did vote for him). And what has he done to stop the spread of radical Islam? It doesn't seem like much of anything.

Honestly, your posts make me laugh. Thanks for that, I guess.

True about your last sentence. And I don't even hate all Republicans. As long as they are level-headed. Many of my friends and family are Republican, and though we can heavily disagree, we find common ground. Democrats definitely aren't perfect either. It's all just a mess :toofunny:

P.S. Hello, Dolly
